I'll be really disappointed if they end up doing a very similar show (same jokes) every night... they should just give him his own stage to do interviews with bands that just got done playing and skits like every hour. Plus an hour stand up slot in between pre/ headliners

Chris Rock did his regular standup routine when he played Roo. Same exact jokes and same exact delivery. I'd imagine Conan shows won't all be the same (I could see him playing a few different songs each night) but I feel like the appearances of triumph and masturbating bear/self pleasuring panda as well as pre-taped bits will be the same. I'm sure Conan will throw a few Roo jokes in there....but we'll see. Plus him MCing the main stage will be awesome in itself.
So, who's passing out after the Friday Late Night madness outside the Comedy Theatre with me? I am so going to spend the night there in line after LCD Soundsystem.

I'm probably camping out for tickets Thursday night/Friday morning or Friday night/Saturday morning. I wonder which one will be harder to get into. I'm thinking the Friday show might be easier to get into since folks will still be just settling into camp.
Having him go on early in the day is probably a good thing for the hardcore Conan fans since fewer casual fans are going to want to get up early in the AM to wait in line for tickets.

I may be there. I plan on scoping the situation after the late night shows end. More than 20 people, I'm starting to get nervous and will probably sleep in the grass. Otherwise, I'll probably go back to the tent for a bit and maybe grab a couple of hours of sleep.

Went to his show last night in Chicago and I must say it was one of the greatest things ever! If you are a die hard Conan fan this is a must see (obviously) but I had a blast. It pretty much had everything you could ask for. Plus with all the celebrities and musicians at Bonnaroo he will pull some to be at the show. I would love to see this at the theater but I want people who haven't seen this yet to see it plus the line will be ridiculous. My friend wants to see him so I don't know when she will wait in line to see him
First off, is the mc'ing thing still on? If so, I imagine it's through the pre-headliners and headliners? Also, when are most people trying to hit up the comedy tent? I'd imagine Friday would be the most popular?
Conan is performing at Third Man Records tomorrow night so I think there is a really good chance Jack White might make an appearance at one or both of Conan's shows at Bonnaroo.
where is what going to happen? Jack & Conan? At Third Man Records in Nashville before Roo......tho it's possible dead weather/jack white have some kind of interaction with conan at roo.
Thanks Bonnaroo fer totally underestimatin' how many thousands of people wanted ta see Conan this year. And thanks fer not actually followin' through with that no line until 10am on Fri/Sat. And thanks also fer not announcin' way ahead of time that you would have to get a ticket to the Cinema Tent simulcast of his show on Saturday mornin'. Thanks fer makin' it nearly impossible to catch the show I was most excited to see this year. I know you can't please everyone at 'Roo, but this was just a disaster to me and several people I talked to this year.

^I understand your plight man, and i'm really sorry it didn't work out for you. I'm so appreciative of how lucky I was to see him. I had gone to the comedy tent on thursday to get the word on how Conan's show would be organized. The lady explained how tickets would be distributed at 11pm, so I got in line after I woke up at 9am. Then roo staff rearranged the line into an absurd 'U' shape without any cones/rope or anything. Once the mob was formed I was already accepting that I wouldn't be getting in. I feel so bad for people who were there the night before, I know some of them got REALLY screwed over
