Laying in Which field garbage for Kacey Musgraves with all of the chat folks who love her, especially rdk and Madeline -> John Oates -> Jeff the Brotherhood trying to top Art vs. Science's record of the most schwag beer guzzled while shirtless -> James Adomian and David Cross (Mac DeMarco and Wild Nothing if I can't snag a ticket) -> Holy Ghost! -> Ed Sharpe cult initiation -> DB&SV -> Scanning for hot old hags at Tom Petty who'd be interested in adopting me or taking me on as a trophy husband -> Sticking a straw in my salmonella cooler and sucking down nutrients for the drive home.
"In the darkness hundreds of glowsticks streaked the air like tracer shots in war. Giant inflatables bounced over dozens of light sabers pointed skyward. Stuffed animals impaled on sticks danced above the hot crowds, puppeted by someone just given ecstasy by a friend made seconds before."

I'm willing to donate my Glitch n' Groove. This is a circuit bent toy I "built" a year or so ago and it is the only one of it's kind in existence. I can safely say there is nothing else quite like it on earth!
The deets: The Glitch n' Groove is a circuit bent toy drum machine. Minus my modifications (which I'll get to in a minute) the toy features: 6 drum pads - 2 snare drum pads, Ride cymbal pad, Crash cymbal pad, High tom and floor tom pads. 8 Different pre-programmed drum beats Demo Mode Adjustable tempo* 2 volume settings (high & low) A Record/Play button** Built in 9 ohm Speaker
Fun stuff I added: 4 long stem Pots or potentiometers (or "nobs you can twiddle" in layman's terms) which do all manner of crazy shiz to the sounds coming out of it. 6 brass body contacts which also do all manner of crazy shiz to the sounds coming out of it depending on how hard you touch them and what combination of contacts you're touching. This includes slowing the sound down to the point that you get this crazy squiggly electronic static that will be music to your ears. And probably to your ears only! 1/4" mono output jack (hook it up to your effects pedals and an amp and watch you're audience run out the door!) A reset button***
*You can't set an exact tempo like 120bpm you can just speed it up or slow it down using the green tempo buttons. Also the tempo is steady but not precise. In other words it keeps time but the tempo is not an exact BPM, so instead of say 120bpm it's more like 120.735bpm. **The record/play feature is functional but super wonky due to the various modifications I made to the circuit. It spits out interesting results but nothing like what you recorded. At all! ***Because the electrical current's flow across the circuit has been drastically altered it's inevitable that on occasion you'll do something that causes the circuit to "freeze" and it won't do anything even if you turn it off then on. The reset button disrupts the current and places the circuit into the state it was in just before it froze up. This is the most stable circuit I've ever bent so this doesn't happen very often.
This thing screeches, growls and groans like nothing else! You don't even have to make it play one of the pre-programmed beats to to get it to start making unearthly sounds, just turn it on and twiddle the nobs. The Glitch 'n Groove does not come with any instructions or explanation. It's up to your own sense of experimental creativity to figure it out. The instrument runs on 6 'C' batteries which are not included.
Considering it's uniqueness and the cause for which it is being donated I think $350 is a reasonable suggested donation price.

Demo 2 [/quote] Of course I'll clean it up a little before sending it! Kinda dusty.
For some reason this made me smile. As someone who meets the criteria to post in this thread I collected ALLOT of war stories being alive for a few decades and all! I look forward to swapping 'em on the farm!
Please have lots o fun!!! Although I have made an oath to myself NOT to miss another Bonnaroo, life has a way of showing its ugly side and we can't get away...
Graham and I will be there in spirit...I will be at the farm with you in my twisted mind.
Be sure and take care of Mike D : He has toiled on the details selflessly so that everyone has an inspiring time.
And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
I am putting up this pristine Electric Ladyland vinyl purchased when analog was all there was. It is in such good condition you may need to add your own hiss and pop. Suggested donation $25.
Managed to snag weekend 1 and a car camping pass. Was in standby for the last 10 min of my drive to Nashville and while I was refueling the rental car. Just as I pulled into the garage to return my rental I ended up on the purchase page. It was quite stressful but successful.

I'm going to give the RooTu a shot. I went to the fabric store and picked up a few yards of blue glittery stuff, light blue, and white. I've never attempted to make anything like this so I may need some tips from guys. I'm going to start it tonight. Wish me luck! I also plan on wearing it to the race at Roo.
As the days close in, this remains one of my most anticipated shows. I plan on getting as close as possible for a fully immersive experience.
Well you're gonna have to compete for space with me
I think the competition could be fierce for good spots. I don't need to be on the rail, however. Anywhere from the halfway point of the tent on in would be good for me.
Bonz.. The redneck tu with the suspenders was made of a few minimal pieces of tulle, plastic bags from the recycle bag pile (stole that from Scrog - his walmart bag Tu was amazing!), some strips of camo material, and srips of denim from old worn out jeans.
If you have tulle scraps.. 8 - 10 inches min. suggest making hair-scrunchy tu's. Wear them into centeroo... have give aways for the lovely ladies at the security check throughs.
I've never met you...but feel as I know you. You are one of those who post here that make everyone feel welcomed...and my wish is that some of that good karma will come back to you and your family, Whoreshack....chin up!!

My name is Marla. I met some nice people while at 'Roo last year (2012). The first guy's nickname was Jag, after Jagermeister, the alcohol. He was a volunteer at 'Roo. I feel really bad. My cell phone died before I could grab all of my info off of it from the people I met while there. He was very kind and generous, and I felt bad for losing contact. I should have kept more in contact to thank him.
Also, I met another person named Omree, who was very kind in helping me lug my overabundance of luggage to Tent Only.
It was nothing romantic, but I just want to thank both of these people for all their help and their kindness; to make sure that they know that their kindness and generosity were very much appreciated.

I once carried a sack full of cookies and snacks from Trader Joe's on a flight with Delta and chomped on them for most of the time in the air. I think most if not all will allow them. Just not any liquids over 3.4 oz for carry on.
