Very cool add! Glad that he is MCing the What Stage so I can atleast see a little of him because I cant see myself missing all the stuff you would probably have to miss to wait to see him in the comedy theater.

a comedy theater sounds bigger than a comedy tent. with more quality comedians we may get a more quality setting.
on a more (personally) hopeful note, maybe this new, larger viewing area can be used to show the us v. england world cup match. (insert your own joke about watching the us play soccer is a lot like watching a comedy act)
Considering the NBA finals are generally during Bonnaroo I think there is a 1% chance of that happening if they conflict. I think this is a pretty huge add and Conan is the perfect guy to get to mc What stage. Hopefully we will be seeing Conan in that spot annually, that would be pretty awesome.

When I heard about this, I actually didn't believe it. I am really glad this turned out to be true.
This was a brilliant move in AC/Superfly's part. Everyone was clamoring for it back in January, and it seemed like a long-shot. They delivered on this one.
If you don't like the line-up at this point, I'm sorry. No, it isn't exactly what everyone wanted, but it is starting to look pretty solid.
Yeah, I was on the fence, hoping for a supporting headliner(still hoping for Arcade Fire to make their move), but now with Conan, going to my first Bonnaroo is about a slam dunk.

I take it that it's going to be the same size. In 09, it was The Comedy Sweet hosted by Butterfinger...but, in 08, it was called The Comedy Theater. It is listed as that under the schedule under more stages.
oh well on the larger comedy tent. but what if we had a straight up late night with conan o brien show? he could have guests, do a monologue, have a small superjam musical guest..
and what are our chances of having the human giant guys all perform together?
Agree with all of the above, this is the "wow factor" act that Bonnaroo was lacking before. Great job, great add, and looking like a GREAT YEAR FOR 'ROO
Just read this in the yahoo article on Conan's tour:
"Sidekick Andy Richter and the former "Tonight Show" band will join O'Brien for what he promises to be 'a night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.' "

I checked out the ticket prices for his shows, they range from $39.99 to almost $100 (with fees and taxes). Just seeing him twice at Roo would definitely be, to me, worth the price of this year's $240 ticket.
It's because he is wanting 100k per show. My brother was trying to book him. Can you imagine what Roo is paying him to be there all weekend? He's making bank off of this weekend. Not that he even needs it after his buy out. I guarantee he cost more than the headliners.

I wonder what the odds of him sitting in with a band or two during Roo. I would think pretty high, since he plays guitar and will be there over multiple days. The Dead Weather seems almost too obvious, given that Conan and Jack are friends.
