you can crtique mine as well. But my thoughts on yours, no ABB, Willie Nelson too low, Chance too Low, Grimes too low, Empire of the sun too low.
What's that semi-famous quote about how the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?
Realistically though if you took out U2 and put in JT or Foo or Radiohead, took out NIN and put in phish, and took out the yeah yeah yeahs and put in some flash in the pan pop act do you think mine looks very unrealistic. I know those three are not happening but I think much of my mock is possible. Your thoughts?
I don't know why anyone thinks Justin Timberlake is a realistic possibility. Dude doesn't really do many live shows these days, hasn't ever done a festival.
Justin Timberlake is FROM Tennessee. Bonnaroo is IN Tennessee. Don't you see??
Mick Fleetwood said in a Rolling Stone interview that Fleetwood Mac are planning on starting up another two years of touring next year. Obviously them deciding to finally play a US festival would still be a question, but at least we know they should be active.
"Well, we're all dedicated to getting together about a year or so from now and going and doing another two years of touring all over the world, probably. And we also have a huge amount of recorded music. A huge amount. None of it's with Stevie. Or very little. Some of it is very, very old stuff that Lindsey maybe did with her years and years ago. We're not quite sure what will happen with it. But you know, doing this band is a huge investment. We're only off the road for less than a year, and when you add in the time it takes to put a tour together, do rehearsals, get it up and running, the whole thing, it's three years that you don't do anything else. And Stevie has her own life and career and I think … you know, she just doesn't want to spend the time right now. And we're quietly saddened about that but also I sort of understand."
I think you are bending Micks words a bit. I read here that they won't be ready for anything until late 2017, most likely 2018. And that is an ideal outcome. I think Fleetwood Mac is out for 2017. Plus I can't imagine the amount of bitchin Stevie would do in the heat of a TN summer night.

the Who - Arcade Fire - the Weeknd - Skrillex
This top 4 would outsell this years even though it's worse and probably cheaper
Black Keys supposedly have a new album coming out next year. Now that is a realilistic Roo headliner.
Just had a thought: what if we didn't get The Arcs this past year because we are getting The Black Keys as a headliner? The Arcs seemed like one of the most obvious bookings for 2016.

Nah, they just had a break in touring between May and June this year.

I feel like 21 Pilots would be in the 4-6 range. Black Keys are def top 3. And FWIW I've had way more fun at 21 Pilots shows than Black Keys. The music isn't any better but at least they put on a show. Ideally neither though. Pilots would be a big draw because of their ridic fanbase but ideally there's something nice opposing because they'd command a HUGE crowd.
There isn't another headlining band/act being thrown around that makes me wanna puke more than Black Keys.
Not even 21 Pilots?
I saw The Black keys in 2010 and they were awesome. However more recent videos make their performances seem really dialed in. I think if our huge get is a classic act The Black Keys would be a good 3-4 act. But I doubt we get them and Arcade Fire again. So I say no to The Black Keys. Also 21 Pilots would be way worse. Also would you guys prefer The Black Keys or Kings of Leon? Just wondering.

I doubt 21p are booked any lower than 5th going forward and that's of the other 5 are pretty stacked.

Black keys for sure. Never liked KoL and Black Keys have a stellar catalog (don't really care for El Camino). My biggest problem with The Black Keys is that Dan just isn't a commanding front man. Saw them in 14 (I think) with St. Vincent and enjoyed myself
