2024: The Floozies, Phyphr, Disco Biscuits, Cimafunk, WSMFP, The Killers, Cory Wong, Dumpstaphunk, Bomba Estereo, Molly & Golden Hwy, Big Freedia, Payton/Nth Power, A.P&TFN
also finished this guy for now til pre party and hopefully additions come..
Krisp, have seen this guy or band or whatever, but I can't remember a thing about him/them. Too many sets... Will check out the video & see if it rings a bell.
They are good (and good live) for anyone who likes jazz and downbeat. Those guys are all very talented and playing something you don't see young white kids doing very often.

So on bandsintown it shows major lazer and walshy fire both playing hangout. I'd imagine we'll see him added as a Malibu tent artist similar to the jillionaire set we got in 15.

I've never been to a young the giant show but I've had several chances too. Most recently at acl they played the miller stage across the way from the porter+madeon set we were at and I turned around a few times to see what was going on bc they were fucking rocking out with lots of lights going and shit. So that got me excited to see them finally. Also diving into their newer cd some good stuff in there.

Watched that video & it was pretty darned good. Believe I saw them at Bunbury 2013. They played a late afternoon set (so not much lights) & were missing their regular keyboardist, who was sick with something. Their manager filled in for him/her. They didn't 'wow' me then, but I would definitely be up for seeing them again.
Fuck Hangout. Trey Band on now from 13 covering Clint Eastwood with Jen Hartswick doing the rap parts. Sorry to the haters, but they ruled 2013 Hangout. Right before that was Slightly Stoopid. I'll never forget leaving Bassnectar to go back to that set and the lead singer warning everyone to be careful because they were scared shitless. Haha. Al's finest were out in force 12 and 13 (and apparently worse in 10 and 11). I still laugh pretty hard at the Internet hate on so called white reggae/water vibe bands excepting Sublime. I have no hate for SS, Rebelutuon, etc. I'm not running out to spend money but most of the haters weren't even around (meaning BORN) when reggae took off in the USA. For those west coasters that grew up in the post reggae wave, surf and stoner culture, it makes perfect sense. It's no more posing than a decent white rapper.
Edit they bumped up to 14 and Outkast is on. Hahaha

I don't like Sublime because it will never, ever be Sublime.
I actually like Slightly Stoops a lot and would see them this year. I got kind of burnt out on ragga a few years ago due to a friend who obsessed about. I also did see 311 and Sublime this year randomly so there is that.
Two nights if STS9 next weekend, two nights of Lotus announced today, Umph coming back and Disco Biscuits running Euphoria has me hitting all the jam I need.

Word. No Buscuits for me, but all you mentioned plus Pop a dose yo, moe., Joe Russo's Almost Dead and Panic should get me a jam fix through April. Lettuce tomorrow night will assist. \j/

What user on here said they seen Tribe for the first time at Voodoo? I'm watching some videos on YouTube of their most recent sets and it's crazy how underwhelming, while still excellent, that 45 minute VooDoo set was compared to when they throw down for 3 hours.

I love Bonnaroo, never been to Hangout but seems fun.
With that said, replace Mumford and 21 Pilots on Hangouts lineup with U2 and Red Hot and you have a better version of the Bonnaroo lineup pretty much (smaller but yeah).

that would have gotten me back to hangout. There just aren't any headliners there this year, and I really don't like mumford or 21

Esteban, was front row (on right in front of whichever of the 2 took the right side mike, as seen from audience) for that Slightly Stoopid set. Watched it on Axe TV or Palladia & I can be seen for about a sec & a half during set. All during it, I had some young girl trying to get past me (or through me). She did not pass. One of the better Hangout sets. Remember one of the guys saying how the cops had tried to bust them in their dressing room before the set!
Ah, Baldwin County...

Haha. Unbelievable. Luckily they vastly improved their hands off approach for 2014 and 2015. Someone on here was #1 to go down in 2014, but I didn't see much harassment unlike 2012 which had the roaming German Shepherds or what I heard about 2011 and 2010 with the riser stand and pulling people from the crowd. I actually thought they made pretty good progress with crowd relations.

The last 2 years (I think) they have done the separate lines for guys & gals. Voodoo actually did that this year, but were pretty lackadaisical in the checking. I'm old & they don't bother with me too much. So far, Hangout has been the worst for security, IMO. Don't like those new portable bathrooms, as I've used portajohns to have a 'wiz khalifa' (my slang for getting high in a portajohn) alot over years. Can't hardly do that in those new things. Do like the atomic flush, though.
So far, the only fest I've ever been popped at was a local, one day one called Moontower. They just confiscated my doobie. Pretty embarrassed about that one.

What type of a position, retail banking or back office?

In the comments to a Hangout Facebook post today, someone is selling two VIP tickets at $200 under cost. FYI. Also received a lot of video and photos of Jimmy Buffett impromptu walk on with Mac McAnally in Pascagoula. That would be fun. Headed to Nashville Boat Show tomorrow to trade boats. Need to see if anyone good is playing the bars and honky tonks.
