I started looking at rateyourmusic in attempt to put together a list of my own. It's impossible. Going back that far, I just kept finding more and more albums I would want to list as I went down their list.

Obviously failing to include anything Radiohead (Kid A, but also In Rainbows) is a big miss, but this isn't really a bad list, at all. Pretty much every album on that list deserves as much praise as possible, even if I think some of these are placed way too high.
Actually, that Libertines album can go, that band is so overrated it's insane.
It really isn't, though. It's not like some bullshit Rolling Stone list where they decide that a crappy late-period Steely Dan album or something similar is a top ten album of the 2000s. Barring the odd exclusion of anything Radiohead related, that's a good list. Nearly every album on there is unassailably great, except for the Libertines who are kind of garbage.

Do we think Channel Orange will get more or less popular over time? I still love that album, but I feel like in general it's going to be completely forgotten.

Don't get me wrong, I agree there are some solid choices on the list. I stand by my statement fuck GQ, I just hate that magazine and a haters gonna hate. Really any list proclaiming "these are the greatest *insert anything here* of the *insert anything here*" without beginning that statement with "In OUR opinion" is trolling for a flame war.

Most people just realize that "in our opinion" is implied. Also, the actual article is "21 albums from the 2000s every man should hear"

I was a green day fan, and then i stopped being a green day fan. then american idiot came out and my little sister became a green day fan, and I reaffirmed my loss of faith. no idea how that album should be on this list.
