Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Leisl was just telling me stories last weekend about this haha.
Also, apparently I made a last.fm account many moons ago, but never really hooked it up to anything. User name is my real name and there doesn't seem to be a way to change that. I followed anyone who posted their name here and would be happy to PM anyone else my username (for those of you who know my real name, it's a FirstLast format).
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
ABORT ABORT!!! we went last year for the first time. it was a SHIT SHOW!!! ask SiggymonsterAlyssa@porchradio
Yeah. Here's the thing: Everyone but me is running a half marathon that same morning so I'm stuck in a shitshow no matter what.
no one thought this trip through and it's been incredibly fucking frustrating. I'm pretty sure our friends that live there don't even know the parade is that day. I've given up trying to find anything that I actually want to do because one of the people we'll be with is a total control freak and won't do anything that isn't his idea. It's gonna be a looooooong trip that I should have bailed on but I've never been to Chicago so I've couldn't pass it up.
Maybe I'll just ride the train and people watch all day.
Do not go to the parade, I repeat do not go to the parade! It was the biggest mess of my life, and that is saying a lot. We all broke ourselves and it took a solid 7 days to become unbroken. If I was going to be around that weekend I'd come save you but after last years shit show I'm leaving the county. I will be in Toronto that weekend. I would suggest if you're going to be hanging solo go to begyle or half acre and do the tour. You'll be safe in that neighborhood, especially since we won't be there.
All of this Chicago talk, and y'all making me want to get back up there.
Walked around inside the loop in the early morning yrs ago (1st North Coast), spotted a Banksy "rat" on the edge of an alley, across from a McDonald's. Immediately handed an extra burger to a homeless gent sitting near. Smiled. Kept strolling. The loop was dead that night for some reason. I AM NOT endorsing a late night loop walk.
Love that town. Empty Bottle reminds me of a bar I worked at long ago. Plus, I always bring some vinyl home.
In the past two weeks, I've either seen, briefly met or spoken to the following celebrities at The Patterson House. Taylor Hicks, Connie Britton, Joey Lauren Adams, and Evan Rachel Woods. Surprise!: Taylor Hicks is a douche.

Im trying to find the race route to compare to the parade route and then find places to hide/drink Irish coffees. I've got to stick to the race route since I'm group cheerleader/carrier of the gels.
I'm in Chicago the 8th through the 12th, so if you or anyone else want to be irresponsible and get drunk on a weeknight (or Friday) - holler!
Also open to suggestions on where to get a good whiskey-based cocktail or just a good cocktail. We're staying in Old Town if that helps.

He's a known person. As far as I'm concerned, he's a celebrity. An E-list celebrity. But a celebrity nevertheless. I couldn't walk into random bars and be recognized for being famously grey-haired on American Idol.

I have never been, but I've heard good things about delilahs for whiskey. Its in Lincoln Park so it's not too far from Old Town. I don't frequent old town often so I don't have too many recommendations where you're staying. I still need to book my flight to Toronto so I'll let you know if I'm around!

I don't go out a lot but I can vouch for Delilah's, it's a cool little joint and whiskey is their specialty. I've been to Fado Irish Pub in River North. Closer to downtown than Delilah's if that's what you're looking for, they have some good whiskey cocktails.
I'm watching the newest Bill Maher, and holy shit do I want to punch Piers Morgan right in that stupid face of his.
Speaking of punchable faces, who has the more punchable face: Ted Cruz or Mitch McConnel?
My vote goes to Ted Cruz, simply for the fact that that smirking turd bucket is actually my senator.
Wish I could keep watching Maher (I still tend to watch the Overtime's via youtube) but holy shit she really can't let go of his "religious"/"Muslims are the problem right now"-idealogy. He also is such a huge proponent for Israel won the war, the Palestinians are gonna have to suck it up bullshit -- that the current Likud party domination that's destroying any legitimate progress in the area is being ignored. Yet he will push on and on how he isn't anti-Islam; he's anti-all religions.. sometimes he becomes the one with the most punchable face

On Saturday mornings I'll see people who have uploaded the episode of the night before on YouTube.
either way i'm grilling NY strips tonight and they're gonna be delicious
Well since the food will be delicious, hopefully y'all can work things out. I know you are crazy about that kiddo. Relationships are hard, even when there isn't a little person in the relationship.

We attempted to go to Fados last year before the parade. At 9am there was already a $20 cover and an hour wait to get in. I'll have to give it a try when it's not st pattys day weekend.
I see now that you asked for a free option. You can sort the comparison chart by cost. It is super easy to get it set up but feel free to PM me if you want help.
FWIW I've always heard to avoid Hola Unblocker which is a very common recommendation.

thank you!! I'll take a look at this today/tomorrow and will message you if I have any trouble
there are just too many scammy looking VPN sites, so I wanted to make sure I'm getting something real.

No problem! Sorry for completely ignoring your request for a PM haha.
On the same day Ryan Adams releases his breakup album Dawes release a music video starring Mandy Moore next to her new guy Taylor Goldsmith. Can we please have a rap-styled Americana feud with diss tracks, nasty tweets and shit.

Unrelated to Ryan and Taylor, This is Us has gotten me liking Mandy Moore for the first time. Not that she particularly kills it in the show, but the show is killing it, she looks hot, and plays opposite Milo Ventimiglia who I have always had something for (Heroes and Gilmore Girls hellooooo)
