If anyone cares to check, Radiohead's official website indicates Coachella as the last date from April - June. They are pretty on top of all that online jargon so, believe that.
5/24/12 Madison Square Garden - New York, NY 5/25/12 Madison Square Garden - New York, NY 5/27/12 Comcast Center - Mansfield, MA 5/29/12 Parc Jean Drapeau - Montreal, QC 5/30/12 Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto, ON 6/2/12 First Midwest Bank Amphitheater - Chicago, IL 6/3/12 The Klipsch Music Center - Indianapolis, IN 6/5/12 Susquehanna Bank Center - Camden, NJ 6/6/12 Jiffy Lube Live - Bristow, VA 6/9/12 Bonnaroo Festival - Manchester, TN
There's no way that in June RH would play Klipsch Music Center in Indy. They'd play the outdoor venue Verizon Wireless Music center. Its fake people.
This is actually one of the reasons I think it's legit. Verizon changed their name to Klipsch like less than a month ago. Everyone still calls it Verizon. Most of the people who go to shows there still don't know it's called Klipsch. If this is a fake, this is an incredibly thorough fake.

I'm sorry but this makes no sense to me. Y would they play 2 nights at MSG in new york and then at an amphitheatre in chicago? If they played chi it would prolly be the united center imo.
Yep...the official tour dates have all been arenas, not amphitheaters. Not sure why they would switch it up and go smaller for their east coast leg.

Those Radiohead dates are likely not real, but I have a hard time believing they wouldnt go to Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Boston, Philly or Toronto at all. I think there are plenty of dates they havnt released yet, and Bonnaroo would be a good reason why.
I do post on Atease but not much. Usually only around new album/tour info/etc. I don't think I ever got Juggs'd on there.
Also, whoever said that Radiohead wouldn't play in Camden is moronic, because they have, like 2 or 3 times already, one of which I was at. The Susquehanna Bank Center is hardly even in Camden, it's literally the first thing you can get to when you cross the bridge from Philly.
edit: just want to make clear that although I said that I also believe that these tour dates are fake but wouldn't be too upset if they were real.

EDIT: inb4 Juggs kills me for grammar.
Oh, I was thinking Conseco was changed to Klipsch...but thats apparently a different name. My bad.
I mean, it looks fairly real, but I want actual proof or at least a source that has a fairly good track record.
I know they have been scheduled for arenas so far, but I don't find it too unrealistic that they'd book a show in an amphitheatre or too. They have admitted to wanting to play more intimate venues this tour, as well as indoor shows, but they also claimed they wouldn't play festivals, and they're already scheduled for 2 (3 if you count Coachella twice)

radiohead will never play detroit because there is no semblance of a mass transit system here. they also cannot find a venue without gobs of corporate sponsorship around the stage.

Most venues in America could be applied to this. I'm pretty sure that at this point Radiohead has realized that their values have to be somewhat compromised if they want to tour at all in the States.
Also keep in mind that these dates were posted without a source by someone with 20 posts on atease, so I really really doubt they are legit.

What? Most places they play are owned by giant corporate sponsors. Think HP pavillion, Sprint, Scottrade. And there is also no public transit in STL or KC or Broomfield or Glendale. What does any of that have to do with anything? Detroit is a huge city (Metropolitan area atleast). Bigger than KC where they are playing or STL....
Well if Radiohead ends up being our Saturday night headliner, I'm really interested in who our Friday night headliner will be. It would appear as if Radiohead and Phish are the two headliners that everyone was guessing when insider made her first appearance, and Radiohead is the "at least one" from the group of Radiohead, Foo Fighters, RHCP, and Beach Boys.
As for Friday night... The Killers? Muse? Dr. Dre? Van Halen? The Beach Boys? Foo Fighters? Black Sabbath?

my post was not re: those tour dates, fake or not. they were re: them skipping detroit. radiohead has not played detroit since 1997, when they became too big to play a theatre.

Lack of a venue, however, is a legit reason not play there if they arnt doing a stadium. This is true. I'm not familiar with Detroit's venue situation.

this is not re: the name of the venue, but corporate logos surrounding the stage in view of the audience. the link i posted has more specific info.

there is only one amp big enough for RH to play. they specifically haven't been back because this amp has too many corporate logos surrounding the stage.
