Newcomers Public Enemy. Seriously, it needs to happen. GZA/Genius Pharcyde A Tribe Called Quest Aphex Twin Jens Lekman Dinosaur Jr. Eels Glenn Branca The Jesus and Mary Chain Jim O'Rourke Spiritualized Mark Kozelek Silver Jews Frank Black Pete Rock Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds No Age Rakim Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Headliners: Muse NIN or Tool Led Zeppelin Radiohead
I have to say I like these headliners, though I dunno if Muse is up to it. I haven't seen them since Curiosa, so I could most definitely be wrong. I think they should give Tool a late night, 4 hour long psycho-jam. But then again, I worship at the altar of Tool.
Newcomers Brand New The Bravery Dashboard Confessional Hot Hot Heat The Killers Mewithoutyou Motion City Soundtrack Panic at the Disco Phantom Planet Say Anything
i'm all for musical diversity at the roo, and i like how it attracts so many different kinds of people. but dude, if these are the bands you're trying to see at a festival then go to bamboozle. i wouldn't want those whiny emo groups and their ilk anywhere near that farm.
I think Superfly should invite everyone who was playing on the infamous Kanye night back (excluding Kanye himself of course). I know I skipped several acts and many others did, because his show was supposedly sooooooo awesome.
I know I'd buy my ticket right now if Superfly could guarantee a return visit for Sigur Ros. Their set was so amazing; I didn't meet one person who disliked it. Also, Phil and Friends are always more than welcome.
Here's my ultimate wish list (I'm not saying we'll be getting any of these, but a guy can dream, can't he?):
Any of the following for headliners: Roger Waters (with his light show, of course) Led Zeppelin (keep hope alive!) Deep Purple AC/DC Sex Pistols Radiohead Parliament Funkadelic Allman Brothers (if Gregg's okay to perform by then)
Pre-headliners: Weezer The White Stripes Franz Ferdinand Bob Dylan King Crimson Modest Mouse REM
Late night: Daft Punk (highly unlikely, since they're on a break from touring. But if Superfly did book 'em, it'd have to be another late night main stage show) Cut Copy The Presets Beastie Boys Porcupine Tree The Flaming Lips Iggy and the Stooges Outkast Moby (please don't smite me for this) Gorillaz
Others: Gogol Bordello Interpol (they're long overdue for a visit, aren't they?) The Arcade Fire (ditto) Yo La Tengo Sonic Youth Tenacious D LCD Soundsystem Blondie Silverchair The Strokes

Headliners: Phish (I don't care for them, but they would help get attendance back up to 80,000) OutKast (They would not let us down like Kanye) MMJ (after the epic performance on Friday night, there is no reason for them not to close the festival)
Late night: Muse (These guys would make fans out of nowhere) Daft Punk (I couldn't imagine more people dancing than with these guys) Ghostland Observatory (to make up for all the people that missed the high energy and visual concert this year)
