"Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski

karma for Danbird for the Bon Iver support. I saw them live a few months ago and they put on a really great show. I've been really suprised that I haven't really met or heard from that many people that appreciate their album.

Prince needs to play Roo. Would like to see Dr. Dre (with Snoop) play during Kanye's slot (he would actually show). Radiohead will come back soon. Other than that, I trust Superfly to put together a good mix of tunes I enjoy.

If MMJ is back at the farm next year... you better also bring Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band and M. Ward.
I don't know if you've heard of the "Monsters of Folk," but it was a tour between Jim James, Conor Oberst, and M. Ward. They had a set where they all collaborated. They're going to be putting out a CD soon according to www.pastemagazine.com and they would be amazing... Heck... make it a "Monsters of Folk" themed SuperJam and have them with tons of special folk guests.
Jenny Lewis, Ben Gibbard, Zooey Deschanel, Calexico, the Album Leaf are just some of the names who have collaborated with those artists before and could easily show up during the SuperJam.
How about a headlining set with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, & Liam Gallagher? I might shit my pants. I mean, to pull that off would be unreal. Clapton to fill in the parts for George Harrison and Liam take over the duties for Lennon. I mean, he sings a mean 'I Am The Walrus' and 'Helter Skelter', and we all know Clapton can rip through 'While My Guitar Gently Wheeps' almost as good as George.
But I do think some special collaboration is in need to spice things up. Something that would make Bonnaroo a once in a lifetime experience, not just another tour stop. That's why I still suggest Bob Dylan w/ the Dead. I can't think of any other collaborations that could hold down a headliner spot, but I'm sure there's tons that could be made.
Okay, so here's what I can think of right now. I think of a new band/act everyday.
