Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Agreed on Franz Ferdinand. To be honest, it's strange to see them so high on the list. I wouldn't think your average Bonnaroo attendee would really care about them. My guess is that they're just a placeholder for someone bigger to be added. Coachella did that with Willie and a couple others.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

I'm really hoping for some stellar additions because,as it is now, i'm just kinda bummed. This is starting-off as the least exciting Bonnaroo yet. (For me, that is. If you're digging the line-up, that's great. I'm just disappointed.)
Willie (still owes us one) Nelson The Mars Volta David Byrne Primus (or Les) Squirrel Nut Zippers

i hope tool plays "no quarter"
i'd die and go to heaven right there
(and yes i know it's a cover, but it's an AMAZING one )
That is one of my all-time favorite covers, up there with many Johnny Cash songs (Hurt by NIN, sung by Cash anyone??)
The thing about Tool for me is, they are one of the few bands out there right now who truly highlight the bassist throughout the entirety of their songs - not just some solo part in a couple of songs. Sit in your chair in a completely dark room and listen to Tool and you will get what I am saying. Tool and Primus are the only two good bands for high-caliber bass play that I know of (in the rock realm).

Not only that, but Danny Carey is the greatest rock drummer in the world, imho. People who haven't really listened to him are going to be blown away. The guy is a monster on the skins.
They are all amazing musicians. Trey was right in saying they're a bit like Phish, because their songs are long and complex and in weird time. I think of them as Black Sabbath meets Phish, which definitely works for me.
I know I'll go against most people but I am a little excited for WSP. I know they've been there too many times and play too many festivals, but they do love Roo and Jimmy Herring is a really, really good guitar player. For those who stick around, I'm sure it's gonna be a good show.
