This will be my first bonnaroo experience just wondering if there are open decks anywhere? I may just have enough room to squeeze in a bag of reccords and was wondering if it'd be worth it.
Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.
I thought about the same thing until realizing that my vinyl would melt in the heat of being there for 4 days. Without somewhere air conditioned to store them and some way of knowing I could actually use them, I decided against it.

I've got the nice metal cases that are insulated, but no way am I trusting my vinyl in that heat. I'm not seeing anything signaling any psytrance at roo, which is quite suprising to me. I'd love to bring lots of old school psytrance, but just playing at the VW learn how to DJ place and risking all that vinyl being ruined just isn't worth it to me.
The VW DJ tent is not the kind of thing you bring your own vinyl too (one word: mud). It's probably not very interesting if you already spin.
I don't know too much about the scene but I've never seen anything out in the camps where people seemed to be bringing their own records to existing setups. If you brought your own system it would be a different story....

I have a ton of psytrance vinyl also and have always felt it could be represented at the roo. At the very least Shpongle could be there.
In 2004 there was a set up in BFE where psytrance was played until the sun came up.
I got the first Shpongle album on vinyl (think they pressed 1,000, they're all numbered )
I've got tables, but couldn't imagine bringing them out and having to think about watching them. Besides, we're staying in VIP. I have a feeling that the psytrance crowd would more likely be found far from Centeroo in the GA camping area.
