Yeah I think a Beck/Radiohead/Oysterhead Saturday night lineup is a definite... but not sure what order... maybe Radiohead/Beck (on main stage after Radiohead) and Oysterhead on second main stage overlapping w/ Beck's set a little
perhaps Beck will preceed Radiohead on the mainstage? Beck>Radiohead (mainstage)>Oysterhead (late night side stage)
this is the most logical to me. Also considering Primus, then Trey was late night Side Stage in 04>05, I think there's a pretty good chance that's what we're getting again.
Lots of confusing stuff popped up over the weekend. -MMJ's myspace says Friday, so I stuck them there with a question mark (their site had said Sunday but that was removed). Renews my hope for seeing them late night. -MMW on Friday at Pollstar (thanks specialist). I left them on Saturday which their site still says, but made them a question mark (could mean Friday late-night or the "breakfast set" that has been mentioned). -Phish.com has Mike and Ramble Dove on Friday (already had that from Mike's site) but says 5:00, which seems very likely to me
-Most intrigueing: Phish.com lists Trey Anastasio at Bonnaroo on Friday (at 10:00 pm incidentally). I didn't even notice at first that it didn't say Oysterhead but said Trey. I left Oysterhead on Saturday because Trey's site still says that. Before anyone gets there undies in a bundle, I would guess that this is referring to Oysterhead and probably has the date wrong anyway, but it did make say hmmm when I noticed that it said Trey, not Oysterhead.

concerning trey... on phish.com it has a trey link which lists bonnaroo. if you click on the additional info link on that tour date it says:
Trey Anastasio display as list display details 6.16.06 Bonnaroo Music Festival Bonnaroo Music Festival
Manchester, TN tel: website venue map area map Show Starts: 10:00PM Doors Open: 12:00AM Tickets on Sale: Wednesday, March 1st, 2006 10:00AM EST (Tickets Available) Ticket Information: Tickets are on sale now. Please visit bonnroo.com for more information. Pricing: ADDITIONAL INFO: Oysterhead: Trey Anastasio, Les Claypool, Stewart Copeland.
so this is in reference to oysterhead and the times look generic.
Thanks unravelled, I didn't see the Additional info when I looked. I'm still guessing that Oysterhead will be Saturday (as on Trey's site) rather than the Friday listed on the Phish site, but who knows.

The last two years there has been a band playing late night on Saturday. Maybe they have a band on the 2nd stage both nights..which colud mean another big addiotion(Ben Harper,SCI,Flaming Lips?) Just a theory I am throwing around.

From Wikipedia
Bonnaroo has said it is in negotiations to add an additional 16 artists to this years lineup. Rumoured artists to be added include: String Cheese Incident, The Flaming Lips, Wilco, The Allman Brothers, The Arcade Fire, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, North Mississippi All-Stars,The Shins, Sufjan Stevens, Fiona Apple, John Mayer Trio, Thievery Corporation, Queens of the Stone Age, Ben Harper, Danger Doom, The Roots, and Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins.
LIGuy said: I still see Elvis Costello (with the other top billed acts announced this makes sense)on Friday and Dr. John (sticking with the New Orleans theme) playing Sat. The mystery is with Les and Common. I see one playing Friday and one Sunday and both can go either way.
I added Costello and clarified the Radiohead stuff (the official site still links to a WASTE page that says June 16, but I think the Petty on Friday Radiohead on Saturday thing is pretty clear at this point.
I also added Lyrics Born to Friday as I think his announcement on his and his label's site is pretty official (here's hoping he gets a late night set).
As for Rebirth, I put the "late night event" mention in the Saturday late night, but I would still bet that they don't get a full blown late night set. The fact that they refer to it as a "late night event" makes me think of the parade, but I've never paid attention to what day the parade was. I think there have also been some instances in the past of people referring to Friday late night with Saturday's date (which it technically is). I feel like I remember one year they were on the roster and didn't have their own set at all, just led the parade and jammed with somebody but I could be making that up.

Petty on friday, radiohead on sat, and phil on sunday?. If they add another "Big" headliner does phil get moved to another slot? Maybe have a couple of big names overlap a little on sunday.

The promoters have their headliners set. Phil has already said he is closing Sunday night. If anything, they would probably overlap on Friday and Sat if they were to have two really big names to add on. Once Phil hits the stage some of the people have already left for home.

MySpace has Blackalicious listed for Friday. Which would go with my theory that there will be a late night hip hop stage: Lyrics Born, Blackalicious, Common.
