This is my first year attending and from what i read here the wait getting in can be pretty long. So i was wondering if itd just be faster to park somewhere around there, if there is any place to park, and walk to the entrance, assuming you dont have an overwhleming amount of stuff.

There isn't really a good place to park outside bonnaroo because you gotta then carry all your stuff for miles before you can even get in the gates. You have to wait in the traffic like everyone else. But don't worry, it's quite a party during the traffic jam...especially after a long road trip
Another thought about the lines is this. Last year they completed set up a week in advance, due to good weather. The lines weren't supposed to open till 7:00am(ish) on Thurs. morning. We were in/parked/and set up by 12:30 Weds. night/Thurs. morning. Hopefully someone who lives closer will be able to do a drive by and find out what's going on when it gets closer to time. I live about an hour away -- we checked things out last year. I'll try to go again this year and sniff around when it gets closer to time. Some things won't be able to be figured out until MUCH closer to when we can get in.
Teine was our inside man last year......he's been quiet for a month or so as of late though......we love progress reports......he had posted several pics and even a short video to passify us once the constuction started......i hope he's willing to do the same this year but schedules change and he may not be as free as he was then......
i still have the video saved on a harddrive somewhere around here......cant remember which pc it's on......im sure he or someone else will repost it this year......hell i may if no one else does.....
BlueIndian did you get a good camping spot when they let you in so early? or were you a good hike from centeroo when they had everyone set up? I've just heard in the past that the first people in usually end up with the worst camping spots.

We had an awsome spot. We were down Woodland. Only took us about 10 mins to walk to the venue area. It was great because it was out of the way of all the foot traffic from the main flow of people. I hope to be in that area again. I feel bad for people that were so close after the rain. People made their "yards" mud pits and walked all over their stuff. I'm not sure how they'll do it this year with RV'rs. We were in and RV, but there were so many people coming in at the same time we were just kind of dumped down in that area. Seems like they filled that up first. We had RV's and tents all together. We tried to walk to Centeroo in the a.m., and they had the top of Woodland blocked off until 8:00 or 9:00 on Thurs. morn because of the people that they were trying to funnel in closer to the front.
