"There's no place like bonnaroo" is what I'll be thinking tomorrow when I start my 1st of a 6 day (12.5 each day) work stretch. Who else is working OT for roo' anyone? anybody? blah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been on 7 nights a week with one double for the past 3 weeks and i got 2 more weeks to go before i take off for Wakarusa and Bonnaroo...
I did take one day off when i got really sick a few weeks ago, but other than that im there every night... No such thing as PTO when you're a waiter either...
I have 99 hours (11 nine-hour days) of work until Roo. I really feel sorry for the people I work with because I never shut up about Roo. The last two days I have done nothing but walk around the office with a highlighted printout of the schedule bitching about the conflicts to whoever will listen. Yeah, they are all ready for me to leave. Hehehe.
that's just too funny because everyone i work with are so tired of hearing bonnaroo! so i just make sure that i say it and talk about it even more bonnaroooo. just the other day one guy says i cant wait till thats over with so i dont have to hear about it and my reply was only 385 days till bonnaroo next year!
I have to keep my mouth shut about bonnaroo at one of my jobs.... see, there's only one other guy who bakes at the Atlanta Bread Company I work at, so, in order for me to take time off, he's got to work my days for me, so I don't think he'd appreciate hearing that my "family vacation" is actually me going to a festival to party while he's got to work a week straight.
although, this is the first time I've asked for days off at this place since I started working as a baker last july, so they were coming to me anyway... I just don't know if I would have gotten them if I told the truth... well, it's really a half truth, because I am going to be on vacation w/ my family, just a much larger family
EDIT: oh, on topic, I say to myself "Bonnaroo." anytime I feel like I'm working too much.. and then I feel much better
I'm doing OT. i'm on day 14 of a 4 week stretch. I work 8 pm to 6:30 am, so it hasn't been too difficult so far. I usually just read and play around on the computer while I wait for calls to trickle in. The hardest will be sunday evening into memorial day: 5 PM to 6:30 Am & 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM and 8Pm to 6:30 AM. I have no idea how i'm going to pull that one off.
I just cashed in 7 days of vacartion I had left and My income taxes Thats my Roo money. As much as gas is thats going to be like 200 bucks alone. -Brian
