Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
no clue but i can tell you the veggie options inside centeroo and on shakedown ROCK! (i'm not a vegetrian, but not a big meat eater so i was really happy)
I'm sure about that... what's a hippie festival without good veggie food? I'm just trying to estimate how much money i'll need and a lack of veggie options on the vip buffet would really impact that decision.
i know many of the vendors we met at coachella said they were making their way to roo. the food there was absolutely amazing. the one regret that hopefully i'll be able to fix at roo is that i never tried the homemade veggie corn dogs.
thanks for the info. i saw some mention also about breakfast. since you seem to have some knowledge of this, care to give any additional vip buffet insight?
There was no breakfast served; maybe a lunch put out early someone else was thinking about...
No one has mentioned the lines at the VIP buffet; Jesus, it's like for the $3.99 steaks in a Branson MO rv park. Seriously, that's why I know a little about the vegan option. The line for a fajita lunch (meat/chik + tortilla) was so long, we skipped and went straight to the condiments (lettuce, 'maters, onions, peppers, corn & salsa) and had a tasty no-wait salad.
There's a line for the meals every time. Further, their free "snax" are the kind that come out of the Frito Lay vending machine; heavy on the salty stuff. The crudite platters are what you're looking for, avail noon to nine by the condiments.
Oh, yeah, the VIP waitstaff are, like, unbelievably nice. Like Mormon-Stepford-robot nice.
You'll not want to look for vegan options in GA; you just won't want to leave VIP or Centeroo...
I just got the following reply from a request I sent to info@bonnaroo.com...
-------------------------------------------------------- The VIP buffet DOES take vegetarians into account, and there will be vegetarian food available throughout the event.
