When I go to a festival, I tend to pack my car to the very brim. So flying out to a festival is a challenge for me. I used to live close enough to make the drive but it's not a reasonable option anymore. This will be only the 2nd time I've flown to a festival. I have some ideas how to make this happen but I'm still a novice at this. I'm curious how you manage to bring your festival camping setup when you fly out. What essentials do you bring? What doesn't make the cut? I will share my own thoughts and ideas in the thread below.

I'll be flying out with my brother on Southwest, which does give us more to work with because between us we'll have 4 checked bags, 2 carry-ons, and 2 personal items. I'm going to request my brother bring his Yeti-style cooler as a checked item (and fill it with stuff for the trip, of course) We're both bringing a 100 Liter Duffel (32 x 14 x 15) which is just 1 in under the max size you can check, just need to be careful not to make it weight over 50 lbs. I expect in my checked Duffel I can fit:
I haven't tested if that will all fit but I'm hopeful. I will test in the coming weeks. I'm bringing a Osprey Farpoint 40 backpacking backpack as my carry on. I can very easily pack 5 days of clothing and still have over half the space of the bag to fill with other essentials including: -Aluminet Tarp for the east side of my canopy -Travel pillow
I'll also have my personal item for my hoodie, headlamp, flashlight, ground blanket, etc. I may be overconfident here in my ability to fit all the above in my first checked bag and carryons. If so, I will need a 2nd checked bag (might buy the same duffel, or bring a big rolling bag) But if I CAN manage to make that all fit, my 2nd checked item will be my camping cot. The last time I did Bonnaroo I promised myself next time I would bring a hammock or cot and just sleep under my canopy. I really want to make this happen. If needed I may even ditch the tent, or buy a super low profile backpacking tent in it's place.
Once we land we'll be renting a car. I imagine just getting these bags to the rental shuttle is going to be a nightmare. I may even leave my brother to guard the bags at the airport while I get the car. Once we get the car we'll be headed to a Walmart and loading up on ice, food, beer, and maybe some other camping supplies.
I managed to pack an entire EZ-up and a Peruvian rug into one of two 49.5lbs checked bags (via SW) when I went in 2014. This in addition to a tent, retractable cot, and all other clothing/supplies/etc in my usual overpacking style.

i regularly fly to fests, so it's definitely doable! don't be afraid to buy some stuff once you're there- like camping chairs and coolers are cheap af. last year i utilized extra space in my canopy bag and was able to pack it to the brim- i think it clocked in at 49#.
if you have a good carryon duffel for all your clothes (which you listed, so you do) and check all your camping gear, you will be fine. just don't be afraid to edit.
