Album drops 2.29.24. It’s the 4th in a series of 4 albums each based on a specific time of day. This one will include choirs, orchestras, and pretty massive stars. He did the track reveal yesterday. I think 4 of the songs have already been released.
Track 1 - 100,000 Voices
Track 2 - She Put Sunshine
Track 3 - Little Blue featuring Brandi Carlile
Track 4 - Welll
Track 5 - Cinnamon Crush featuring Lindsey Lomis
Track 6 - Wherever I go featuring Michael McDonald and Lawrence (assuming the band)
Track 7 - Summer Rain Featuring Madison Cunningham and Chris Thile (Nickel Creek)
Track 8 - A Rock Somewhere featuring Varijashree Venugopal and Anoushka Shankar
Track 9 - Mi Corazon featuring Camilo
Track 10 - Witness Me featuring Shawn Mendes, Stormzy and Kirk Franklin
Track 11 - Never Gonna Be Alone featuring John Mayer and Lizzy McAlpine
Track 12 - Bridge Over Troubled Water featuring John Legend and Tori Kelly
Track 13 - Over You featuring aespa and Chris Martin
Track 14 - Box of Stars Part 1 - featuring Kirk Franklin, CHIKA, D Smoke, Sho Madiozi, Yelle and Kanyi Mavi
Track 15 - Box of Stars Part 2 - featuring Metropole Orkest, Suzie Collier, Steve Vai and VOCES8
Track 16 - World O World featuring The Aeollans of 2018 and Jason Max Ferdinand.
They’re mostly all in the 1:47 minute track reveal video. Gonna be a must see show this spring even if this album seems a bit more on the R&B/Choral/Gospel side.
Oh damn I'm stoked for Summer Rain -> A Rock Somewhere based on those features
Same and also for both Box of Starz. Video for Mi Corazon was released last night. It's okay for what it is but I don't know that much about Columbian subgenres to say exactly what it is besides hybrid-pop and some vocal harmonizing between Camilo and Jacob.
He also put out a live video yesterday from last year's Lisbon show which is a Portuguese duet with Maro if you haven't seen that yet.
No doubt Jacob will win his 7th, and possibly 8th or 9th Grammy for this album. It leans heavily on vocals and particularly collaborations. I need time for some of it to grow on me, but even the poppier stuff is untouchable. I realize that some just had to see Paramore at Bonnaroo last year. And good for them. But this was the right call.
