RIP Bonnaroo.
Just kidding, taking $$$ on WITW/Outeroo stuff going all night.
First PL set overlaps like 4 things I wanna see, so now I need to gamble on missing parts of that to see other bands, see both sets in full, or parts of both...
TMV/Thundercat/Tpain sucks. Yves/Ashnikko/Four Tet sucks. GSBS at 2:30 should be illegal.
I feel like the only one who’s extremely happy with the schedule. Minor conflicts for me. Overall it’s great. Just wondering now when Geese will be for the campground set so I can maybe try to make that happen.
Upcoming Shows: 6/2 - Pigeons PPP/Andy Frasco/Dogs in a Pile @ MEGACORP Pavilion 6/5 - Pixies/Modest Mouse/Cat Power @ Andrew J. Brady Center 6/13-6/16 - Bonnaroo 7/25 - Foo Fighters/Pretenders @ Great American Ballpark 7/26 - Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew: Remain In Light @ Bogart's 7/28 - Brett Goldstein @ Taft Theatre 8/4 - Phish @ Deer Creek Music Center 8/17 - The Jayhawks @ Memorial Hall 8/22 - Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins & Rancid @ Great American Ballpark
Probably as good a time as any to say that I won’t be at Roo after all this year. Couldn’t drum up enough interest in our circle, so my wife and I decided to do a different fest we haven’t done yet (most likely Osheaga).
The Roo schedule drop validates this decision for me. Some of the conflicts felt inevitable, but I’d still be pretty disappointed with that schedule if we were going.
Hope everyone has a ball this year! Still think there is plenty of a good music there for it to be a fantastic year. The lower attendance will be nice as well I imagine. Still haven’t experienced one of those.

I'm right there with you, other than the one major conflict I mentioned above.

i'm pretty happy with it too. thursday is a mess but i was pretty sure that would be the case going in, and i'm happy to be able to catch eggy, PL, and gwar.
I don’t understand why they can’t at least stagger the late nights a little more. Like why do Parcels and Idles have to start at the exact same time?
It seems like a pretty obvious money thing to me. Think about how much money you save on staff at each stage if you direct everything to WITW or WITW and the Other for a good chunk of the night

It's hard for me to doom except about late night. I really like having a bunch of activities available after the headliner and it just seems like less of a focus at the moment. But again I'll hold dooming until I we get everything.
I'm gonna have a great time at Bonnaroo music and arts festival. I hope to see a bunch of you at say she she to kick it off (i might make it to eggy we'll see)

also the ever important drug schedule:
Wednesday: NO! too early. Maybe some boxed wine and a cig Thursday: NO! too early. Jk ketamine Friday: If I had to guess this is when my friends will roll so it's Adderall for me Saturday: Drop a tab after the jon batiste set. Kick in for cage and ride it all the way til PL sunrise Sunday: Ride a cool drunk starting at chappell and peaking at Meg. Vibe with the gang for fred again

It’s not like there’s a curfew, attendance is down and there’s the woods so not much crowd to control, esp if not many people staying out late, real fans will stay up later to see why they want and be happier if they can catch more than 1 LN act.

Top 10 post schedule bolded.
Thursday: Eggy > Say She She > Honeyluv > BigXThaPlug for 20 minutes > Geese > last hour of Pretty Lights > last 30 of Neal Francis > a little Gwar > all of Roisin Murphy
Hugely disappointed by BigX vs Geese. Big X was listed on the late night schedule and Geese was not. Stupid fucks. That was my #1 concern for the entire weekend and I was able to put it to bed thinking that they weren't going to have a stroke when publishing the late night acts. Still, overall, this will be the best Thursday ever at Roo. So I'm pumped.
Friday: MIKE > Mdou Moctar > walk around Bonnaroo and take it all in for the last time > Shy FX or Key Glock don't really care > Khraungbin > Interpol > Post Malone > The Mars Volta
Worst day by far. Always was. This whole thing is about TMV late night, which should make the day memorable regardless.
Saturday: Ethel Cain > Brittany Howard > Sean Paul > Kasablanca > The Garden > Red Hot Chili Peppers > Parcels > last song or 2 of Idles > Pretty Lights
It was gutting to see Idles and Parcels announced as late night. Really hurts the day, but this is still going to be a hell of a day / night, maybe the best of the weekend.
Sunday:Armand Hammer > Irreversible Entanglements > TSHA > BBNG for 20 minutes > Carly Rae Jepsen > Yves Tumor 20 minutes > Megan Thee Stallion > Jason Isbell > Fred Again..
Awful schedule but that was always going to happen with so many good acts on one day. But it really didn't grid out to where I can cleanly see 8 full acts or so like it should have.
Overall pretty disappointed with Parcels vs Idles, BigX vs Geese, and CRJ vs Four Tet vs Yves. Those 3 conflicts alone really lower the stock of this Bonnaroo for me.

my drug schedule: wed: room temperature high life at 5 pm thurs: room temperature high life at 5 pm fri: 7 100 mg edibles, taken as soon as i wake up sat: ketamine sun: room temperature high life at 5 pm
Warning for people that are super hyped for Armand Hammer live. The show is very low energy. For the most part they’re going to just stand there and rap. Elucid has more energy than Woods. That said, they’re really fucking good at rapping. So I’d say it’s still worth seeing but if you want energy, you’re going to have to bring your own.

700mgs of edibles would have me sleeping through Sunday lmao
The problem isn't the schedule, the problem is y'all like too much music. Honestly knowing how old some of y'all are it's embarrassing you are still listening to new bands.

I'll stand there with my arms folded and observe.
Yes, looking forward to standing at the back of the tent with my arms folded, or if it's not too crowded maybe even sitting in front of the soundboard with my arms folded.
