Haven't heard any talk about this one but I go every year to meet up with my bff from high school. They've changed the location to a different park a bit further north, and the lineup is decidedly more house music focused than ever before. Looking forward to it despite a history of more impressive lineups.

used to attend this by either volunteering or just going last minute when i lived in the area, damn these lineups have gone in a completely different direction. still looks like a good time. how is the new location? is it still accessible from the light rail?
I love this festival, Hance Park was such a perfect location and they fit the three stages beautifully among art and good food options. A bit more of a family friendly fest but the lineups have always brought it, saw Empire of the Sun and Bon Iver in past years. This lineup is weaker than in past years and we will not be making the trip this year but excited to hear how the new location goes.
If anyone is on the fence for this one it’s a non profit festival that donates all the profits to great causes throughout the year. Highly recommend.

omg did we have any crossover? 2019 was my first.
Anyway I'm hoping the new location is good. It is still accessible by light rail but it's further from downtown. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do

I was there both of those years! I always found the main stage to be a little weak but godddd I don't know if there's a stage I love more at a city fest than the small one on the side with the layered cement/brick. Hance was great and I'm gonna miss it. Definitely in my top 3 city fests, maybe my favorite.

oh gosh, my years of going would've been ~2013 through 2016. it's been awhile so my memory is fuzzy here. i wonder if they still even do camping then?

Agreed. I distinctly remember dancing at that stage March 2 2020 before the world shut down.

ahh, we had some crossover. i was there 2013 - 2016 too!
A few tough conflicts (emo oranges vs coco & breezy, Valley vs Drama) - all in all it looks great scheduled out tho. Gonna have fun
My wife loves Duke Dumont and Gorgon City so we bought a ticket for Saturday…. Of course the one band I was excited to see Roosevelt is at the same time as Gorgon City. 😩
