Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
My wife and I were able to score tickets and will be there. This has been a long time coming for us, we've dreamed about it for years. The plan is for us to roll in Monday evening and stay until first thing Saturday morning.
We're probably going to camp on our own since we won't be there the entire time, but we'd consider doing a group camp if we could either find one with some friends or join up with one that's a good fit. I'm hoping I can link up with a lot of other Bonnaroovians and make a Camp Roo at Black Rock City if possible!

I'm personally not going but a lot of my burner crew will be there. If you ever hit up smaller burns like To The Moon, Love Burn, or Alchemy, let me know.

I went to Alchemy once, had a really strange experience that I'm not sure I wanna go through again

I feel like most experiences at burns are strange but this sounds like a bad strange?
I've heard mostly good things about Alchemy. Mitch from Reddaroo said he has helped put together one of the themed camps there, he said he had a really good time and I take his word on it.
I honestly have no idea whatsoever about what I'm getting into with the big one out in Nevada and I kind of love that. I am totally going in with no expectations and want to get myself thrown into the deep in the pool.
I haven't been thinking too far ahead on this just yet with Roo a little more than a month away, but we've figured out our itinerary at least.
The plan is to drive across country and take our time on the way there and the way back. I've flown out to California or Vegas plenty of times, but always wanted to do the full road trip. We're going to stop in Albuquerque and Vegas on the way in, then Boulder on the way back. I already booked a few nice but cheap hotels so our elder-millennial asses can rest up during the long trip.
People keep asking if I'm going to drive the bus out there, and it always takes some restraint to not laugh about the idea. In theory, I think I could. It runs very well these days, but it's the unknowns on a trip that long that worries me. I don't want to be stuck in the desert in a thirty year old EZ Bake Oven if something unexpected crops up. Plus diesel is five dollars a gallon, so we're just opting to take the wife's Subaru instead.
I'm intrigued by Burning Man but it just seems so overwhelming, especially if you don't go with a group. That and my fiance said she'd break up with me if I went
