Sanders (and Warren imo) killed that debate, and Biden is falling apart. He was struggling to put one single coherent thought together. He was basically just yelling at everyone.
The debate was more interesting than some of the other ones, but I didn't see anyone make a big jump other than Yang - I agree that he did well this debate. It was nice to see Warren get so much airtime, but I do think that Biden's jab about him helping her get votes made her look bad. He called her out on that and she literally stood there speechless with her mouth agape for a couple seconds. Bernie did well but didn't get as much airtime as he should have, and I found that while I would have clapped for a lot of his statements, he didn't seem to get much of a rise out of the audience there.

In reference to that Biden/Warren moment, I think it made Biden look bad. Again he was just yelling at her. He even had to come back and say something like, “you did a great job though”.
I also think the audience was asked to hold their applause. They weren’t really clapping for anyone except for a few statements, and Bernie had more than one that got applauded.

This was a beautiful thing. Been a debate audience hater for a while now.

Ah okay, I missed the first twenty minutes or so of the debate and didn't realize they were asked to hold their applause.

Apparently NBC and a couple of other news outlets were attributing some of Bernie's debate quotes to Warren.
That's okay, according to the a lot of the media Amy and Pete won the night anyway. I just can't even with these worthless fucking pundits.
Not that I expected any different but it's also been hilarious to see how they've tried to downplay AOC's endorsement. When you fucking know they'd rightly call it a boon to anyone else's campaign. Do I think it changes many minds? I doubt it makes many people switch but I think it will make some question the difference between the two and will help with undecideds. But where I think it really matters is the morale it gives the left and it will pull non-voters and the youth.
Anyway, two candidates have a climate plan that's even close to what we need to be doing. I have zero interest in anyone but them. The debate ignoring climate change and building up these shit candidates well above the level they actually preformed should remind everyone what an uphill battle the future will be.
Edit: Speaking of climate change. Listened to Naomi Kline on Chapo today. It's an extremely good interview and a lot more disciplined than usual for them. She gets right to the point on many issues and does such a good job of explaining why a lot of the candidate's policies are inadequate. The section about when/how the GOP finally turns away from climate denial is so important for people to understand. I highly recommend it.

Imagine thinking either of them have a chance against Trump. That's what it would take to watch that debate and think they came out looking like the best in the field. It's so far removed from reality.

I hate political punditry
Most of my friends are either culture writers or state legislature reporters tho
ehh... The Hill and Krystal Ball in particular are extremely pro Bernie. They’ve been shitting on Warren for weeks and bigging Bernie up. I wouldn’t chalk this one up to them being biased against him even if the headline isn't what you want it to be.

The Hill is decidedly not pro-Bernie, my man.
To be fair, I primarily watch their show Rising, which is decidedly pro-Bernie, so that may be skewing my view of the larger network.
I'm surprised to hear that an anti-Bernie network would allow this much pro-Bernie content to exist on their network (minimal digging here):
