So has there actually been official Travis Scott confirmation?
It seems like RATM is the only true confirmation for a headliner.
anyone?
I was thinking about this today - the internet rumors seem to have crystallized around RaTM/Frank/Travis Scott with some 4th headliner theories out and about, but if it were this straightforward and all were already locked in, wouldn't it be straightforward for a site like HDD or CoS to officially confirm them by now? We used to get full headliner leaks in like late October / early November

We're getting Drake but nobody wants to be the bearer of bad news after CFG
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide

Pretty sure the CRSSD appearance won’t let them do an LA show. Besides, they just played in 2018. They’re not going to repeat a rare act like that so soon.

Theyve been able to keep a lid on things this time. Im sure they cracked down even more after the hangout leak. This is a good thing, nothings a sure thing and makes you wonder. Nobody thoughtRoger Waters was gonna play til right before the announcement. So is it insane to keep a lid on things for once?
Theres only 10 days for that info to get out before everyone goes on vacation. After the MCR La show, thats it.
Zac, lead of Halfnoise, drummer of Paramore said they were at Coachella during the Halfnoise show last night. But then said he was just kidding. With his personality, I honestly can't tell if he meant it or not lol. And assuming he was referring to Halfnoise, not Paramore.
I wonder if The Hu might make this lineup. They are in South America until 4/3, then a gap until June. Additionally, the lineup for Sonic Temple fest has a lower billed artist listed as "??? ??". Maybe they can't announce them until Coachella? Provided you take the number of question marks literally I guess.
Pulling this up because Welcome To Rockville also have “??? ??” listed too. Betting it’s The HU and they’re playing Coachella.
alternatively if you are in chrome you can right click the picture, select "Copy image address", [imgx]then past the link inbetween img tags like so, just without the x's[/imgx]
Random q - I'm blanking but what are some examples of second liners who were announced at other North American fests prior to lineup release? Like Aphex Twin at Ceremonia last year.

Aphex wasn’t announced at Ceremonia until after Coachella release FYI. They held back his name from the original lineup drop.

Technically Aphex twin wasn't announced at Ceremonia til after Coachella. Vive Latino had The 1975 and Dillon Francis as headliners that were 2nd line acts at Coachella.

Here's a reddit thread with artists from last year that are thought to have been exceptions to the radius clause.
What are the rules with buku? Everyone out or just headliners? I feel like SZA did both same year tho
Appears to be a decent amount of crossover when looking at the past two Buku lineups. I wouldn’t say anyone is out based on the Buku lineup alone. That said, 2018 had a lot more crossover than 2019 so maybe it’s trending that way and we see minimal crossover in 2020.

So with Flume headling Buku, Electric Forest, and Ultra, do we still think he's in for next year? I know we've had crossover with all of these, but this seems excessive.
