There’s a new single by Surf Rock Is Dead out today. They’ve done a bunch of singles I loved so pumped for their album coming in the spring. This isn’t necessarily my favorite track they’ve ever done, but demonstrates their dream/pop dance/rock style pretty well
Check out the tripped out new music video for Crucifire, and some other awesome tracks from this enchanting desert rock release led by Josh Homme, with these entries featuring Billy Gibbons, Les Claypool, Scissor Sisters singer Jake Shears, Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa, Autolux drummer Carla Azar, etc.:
For those out there who love ambient techno/house, I highly recommend checking Fejká's (German producer Brian Zajak) debut album Reunion...Reminds me of something Bonobo would create, which is a huge complement...
I think the verses are wonder bread as it gets and the vocals on the chorus aren’t good but the drum/synth combo on the chorus is cool. Very internally conflicted on this one

Eh I like it but also dude is my avatar sooo... The instrumentation is great but I'm not super into the vocals too. I get what he's doing but I liked them a little more buried in the mix and gelling with the instruments than being up front.

The drums are the best part of the song
I just think he's consistently a weak lyricist and singer and his production is starting to feel less and less exciting

I thought Currents for the most part had great lyrics
