Column from Stewart Mandel today hypothesizes about a superconference that feeds into the playoff in 10 years. As a fan of a team not in the Chosen 24, I'd probably prefer if this included a relegation system for the "second tier" and that happened yearly. Oh, and no Penn State. If those things happened, it might be a pretty sweet system.
Good for Baylor. Glad to see they prioritized people's safety over wins on the football field.
If you read the report there is some disgusting shiz in there. Coaches, AD staff and judicial affairs people actively suppressing complaints and stuff. This is just the beginning I think. Title IX violations and lack of institutional control. Gonna have the justice department and NCAA involved.
Gonna take more than chip and Joanna to fix this up. It's some stomach churning shiz.
I'm actually kind of upset by this, I know I'm in the minority, but I take my nephews and niece to all the games and they are 14, 10, 8, and soon to be 4. I don't need drunk people around them and that made college football games fun for us. Oh well.

Clemson doesn't sell alcohol, but there are still drunk people all around.

It was that way at Pitt too of course with tailgaters (of course, empty seats don't tailgate...burn). But it will be worse with beer in the stadium. At least we are in the employee section so it shouldn't be that bad.
Historically, UT has had a lot of difficulty recruiting locally. It goes back at least around twenty years. I went to school (the same one as Higgins) with three guys who got D1 offers. Two went to Alabama. One went to Florida. None of the three ever even got a phone call from Tennessee. More specific to recent times, Tennessee's recruiting momentum has seemingly hit a wall this offseason. It really makes me wonder as to what is going on behind the scenes. Given the recent troubles with the sex assault issues, my default is to think that where there is smoke, there is fire. It's pretty much killed my enthusiasm for this upcoming season. Glad you got a quality player though.

Well, then your decision is made. It's time to officially be all in & pull for the pretty shade of orange. We'll welcome you with open arms. There is always room for more in the Clemson family.

Also, Bama has Kiffin who I think is making great strides toward being the new King of Trolls. For evidence, I give you a tweet from today..
I don't get it, other than a reminder that he once lived and coached in Knoxville?
He's been doing with all off-season as he goes around recruiting. Posting road signs and such. He probably posted it with the knowledge that the fanbase would get fired up by his mere presence in Knoxville (much less that he is trying to court local talent). Judging by some reaction I have seen on social media, he has succeeded.

Oh, I gotcha. I had not seen any of the previous tweets. Is he tweeting pics of the license plates of unsuspecting strangers then?

Not sure. My first thought was he was just tweeting the plate from his rental, but I could see how that might be a bad idea.
