Is this you eliminating Drake? Also, Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Weeknd - Gorillaz - Chance the Rapper
Not at all. I don't know anything 100%.
I have faith in you, old sport. Also, there was a team at trivia named Launchpad McQuack last night and it turns out that was their band name. Very similar to your Daytime Goth story. Spooky.
I'm Excited: The Rolling Stones - Bruno Mars - Kings of Leon
The Cure - Arcade Fire - The Weeknd
Drake - Tool - Neil Young
How's the Undercard?: Drake - Arcade Fire - Kings of Leon
Metallica - Kings of Leon - The Weeknd
RHCP - Drake - Neil Young
Pass: Eric Clapton - Calvin Harris - The Killers
Where would Fleetwood Mac - Arcade Fire - The Weeknd and Foo Fighters - Arcade Fire - Neil Young fall among your classification of headliner trios?
For me, that would be very to hard pass on (assuming the undercard is not complete shit). As much as I want to see Neil as the classic headliner, there are other options I think that are more likely (Clapton being the 1st).
Also, Chance seems fairly likely for this year...unless I missed a reason on why he wouldn't be available.

I know festivals seem to think so but if we were ranking them based on our opinions, would Kings of Leon really deserve a top 3 spot on any festival lineup?

Yes. They have the number 1 album in the country currently. I still hear Sex is on Fire or Somebody almost every Friday night at the bar. At Global Citizen Festival this year they showed a clip on the jumbo tron of their performance from a few years back and the entire crowd started singing along. I don't really care for them, but they are still a draw.
You know who has new music on the way, is massively popular, would sell loads of tickets and has a recent exclusive tour with LiveNation?
Drake. Drake is the answer. Stop leaving Drake out of your mocks.
100%. I'm very confident the top line will have at least Drake and KoL. The third is anyone's guess really. Hopefully Neil Young (just announced another new record) will round out the top 3. I'd be pretty happy with those headliners.
Were you serious about talking to a member of KOL at Roo this year? Because at least one of them was actually at the festival

I figured that might be the case. I don't really have any interest in them but it seems like the more general feel is people enjoy them a lot.

what are the chances of tom petty coming back in 2017?
I'd be ok with this. However, since he's already headlined twice and last time was only 4 years ago, I feel like they'd bring back others before him like Springsteen. Maybe with Mudcrutch if he's still doing that next year.

You could do a lot worse than Petty.
Bruce Springsteen - Eric Clapton - Neil Young - Tom Petty

KOL was before Jay Z and Stevie Wonder in 2010. Bonnaroo is crazy.
A bonkers billing indeed, but there is no chance in hell they'll be put above Eminem. I'm having a hard time thinking of anyone who would be billed over Em right now.
