Haven't seen much mention of it in this thread, but Im liking the new Vic Mensa a lot. Reminds me of some of Lupe Fiascos stronger efforts, and really hoping he ends up as the opener for Kanye this fall instead of Desiinger
I wasn't able to get into this Swans as much as their past work. I only listened to the first half. Mitski is pretty good, and the Weaves album wasn't too bad, either. I'm about to try out Twin River. I wish DJ Shadow was on Spotify.

No kidding I just got disappointed about the lack of Shadow on Spotify. I thought it might be an Apple exclusive or something. Turns out it releases next week so... patience.

Well damn haha that explains it then.
You're not alone man. I felt like I was going crazy for a minute there.

It's pretty good. I'm still adjusting to the new sound he has though. I was a huge fan of the sound on Innanetape and some of his newer stuff sounds kinda forced/out of his lane. This isn't as much of a problem on TAGO (minus "Danger"), so maybe he's starting to grow more into it. But, it's still difficult for me to get 100% behind.

I am so behind for June. I just keep listening to "Wow" by Beck, over and over again.
Same. Having my regular method of service down, not being a What member, nor being a subscriber to any streaming services means I haven't listened to a single new record from June.

Also, I'm stuck between Mitski and Wye Oak so far this month. I burned a cd (like an old fart) with both albums back to back and if you didn't know any better you could almost fool someone into thinking it was the same artist.
So unless something blows me away tomorrow (looking at you, DJ Shadow) then I'll be voting for Mitski. This album is like a great mixture of Actor/Strange Mercy era St Vincent and Angel Olsen.

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Listened to a bunch of the new DJ Shadow tracks from The Mountain Will Fall on youtube while I was waiting for it to download and was so ready to cast my vote for it, and then the new Wye Oak started playing from the Up Next queue and was like oh shiiiiiiiiiiit this is rad.
