That's the ZOMG!!!! crowd of 16-21 year olds who are probably beside themselves. But your argument is kind of like saying McDonald's is great because so many billions have been served there. Hopefully these will increase in value to the $325-350 level. Woo.
On the contrary sir. Facebook has by far more likes and shares then Instagram posting and we all know all the old folks are on Facebook. The kids have moved on from that.
*sips my Metamucil* I don't understand those kids on the Instagram.

...prune juice here. I dabbled with the Facebook years ago. Now I enjoy social silence. (With the exception of the Inforooniacs.)
Hot apple cider with local honey and cinnamon stick. Metamucil chaser.
Friends from Gulf Shores shared this with me. New amusement park coming off Foley Expressway. I guess they figure the Wharf serves country, old folks boogie on the beach off season, hipsters in May, mom has Foley Outlets, and now kids gone wild at new amusement park. I'm ready for Jazzfest West to slide over to the beach from Nola in late summer.

I used to enjoy Instagram and then one day I realized that most people probably don't give a shit about my mediocre quality concert photos. Facebook has turned into nothing more than an outlet for people with shitty opinions to rant on. Twitter is probably my choice of the three, mainly because it's just a bunch of funny shit under 140 characters.
Im a Facebook junkie and get most of my concert info from there but it has become a lot of bitching and whining. I use Twitter for sports news. I have an Instagram but I rarely use it.
1/17 Spafford 2/7 Greensky Bluegrass 3/17 Cool Cool Cool 3/28 Ekoostik Hookah 7/10 Jason Mraz 7/11 Chris Stapleton 7/12 Red Hot Chili Peppers 7/13 Buffalo Ska Fest
Actually excited about: Frank Ocean, Chance, Sigur Ros, MGMT, Mac DeMarco
Would still see: Mumford, Weezer, Major Lazer, Young the Giant, Bob Moses, Franz Ferdinand, Local Natives, Warpaint, Mutemath
Meh: 21P, DJ Snake, Band of Horses, Shaggy, Head and the Heart, A$AP Ferg
Would get dragged to by my gf: Marshmello, Dillon Francis
I'm gonna wait and see what Shaky Knees has to offer, and I'm almost certain it will end up topping this.
I am like 93% sure that Shaky will top this for you (based on the bands you have listed) ugh, I wish the lineup would come out soon
The only shock would be if SK wasn't better. I'm a lucky local who doesn't have to choose. I'm more interested to see what Forecastle will have on Tuesday.

Im with you on Twitter. It's a pretty genius concept and things that trend on twitter I assume are more realistic, although I'm sure are also purposely generated at times.
Shaky Knees might work out for me. I use Facebook to keep up with kinfolk. My son is on and into everything to do with information. I'm just glad he and his new job are working out.
Shaky Knees has always been solid and geared more towards rock, Bob. I think you'd really enjoy it, although I can't speak for the logistics of the fest or the setting since I haven't experienced it myself.

The new Childish Gambino album leaked last night and drops tonight. I listened through it and loved, highschoolers/college kids will hate it. Strong funkadelic influences with some soul, jazz, and blues thrown in. It's pretty weird but I would definitley suggest it for those who are looking for something new.
I think "Riot" and "Redbone" are good Prince songs. I like the album.

Yeah, i've only heard those two songs, but they are pretty cool.
Rock Werchter added Kings of Leon, Blink 182 and Alt J to their lineup that already has Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Arcade Fire and System of a Down on it.
It's been mentioned by a few already, but seriously, check out the new Gambino album. I've gone through it at least 4 times since last night and it's fantastic.

mumford and sons or kings of Leon? 21pilots or usher Frank ocean or bassnectar Chance the rapper or lumineers Major lazer or flume? Weezer or wiz? Dj snake or pretty lights Mgmt or solange Sugar ros or sremmurd
Could always be worse guys.
If all those performers on the right were playing, it would have been completely better top lineup, the problem with me is from the second line down. If you like Alternative at the fringes of Alternative, Hip Hop, Rap, Pop, and Electronic, you should go to this. I am closer to country, folk, bluegrass, soul, funk, blues, Americana, jam, classic rock, so not much there for me. I was hoping for KOL, Lumineers, and would take Drake or Usher over Chance and Frank. The undercard has no Isbell, OCMS, Revivalists, Steeldrivers, Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Amos Lee, Jamell Richardson, Dumpstaphunk, Cheap Trick, and thousands of performers I would have swapped and bought tickets. Time to find another festival. moten33 and mattlikesrock have pointed me in that direction.
Yeah, and no Doobie Brothers either. Instead we got this guy.

Please info too thread don't kill me but honestly have to ask what's up with Sigur Ros and the love for them. Not trying to hate but after hearing everyone go on about them I tried several things by them on YouTube and Spotify and feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Not trying to hate all just really don't get them I guess.

I'm really into yoga and you hear their music at every yoga class in town. I associate their music with rest and relaxation. I put on their albums at work when I'm stressed out. I think you either get them or you don't. I am starting to feel the same way about Frank Ocean. Everyone is hyped about him, but it sounds too autotuned to me. The beautiful thing about fests is that there is usually another act opposing the act you don't click with. No worries.
