Scott Aukerman is on the most recent episode of "Under The Scales", Tom Marshall's podcast. Tom Marshall is Phish's lyricist (not every Phish song, but most of them). Apparently he was a fan of Analyze Phish, this should be an fun one. I'll start listening at lunch today.

I loved that Under the Scales episode. Tom had such a good attitude about being mocked and it's always fun to hear Scott out of character from Comedy Bang Bang. Even though, of course, he said he was still in character. And the ending was very sweet, if not sad.
My favorite part was finding out that Harris would literally get pissed after episodes at Scott for making fun of Phish, the engine of the comedy of the show, and then listen to the episode later and be like "yeah ok that was funny".
Anyone listen to "The Need To Fail" podcast with Don Fanelli? I finished the most recent episode with Jason Mantzoukas, and am almost finished with the next most recent episode with Scott Aukerman. As the title suggests, it's a career retrospective interview podcast with a focus on the many many times people in entertainment failed before finding success.
Both episodes were highly engaging, recommended if you haven't listened.

Carl Tart is everywhere right now and I love it. He gave us Memphis Kansas Breeze, a Doughboys appearance, Dumbells appearance, CBB tour, Drunk History, Flagrant Ones... probably a million others I've missed. Anyway, it's great.

Got to talk to him for a while after the live Doughboys in Huntsville, such a great dude.

Ahhhhh that's so great. Very cool for you. He's so immediately likable on podcasts, glad it's the same in person.
Punch Up the Jam did their final episode with Demi. It's on Ghostbusters (the song) and is a live episode with Open Mike Eagle and NEIL Motherfucking CICIEREGA, who produced this gem of a remix (the greatest remix of all-time?) of Ghostbusters:
There was a period of a couple weeks where I could not stop listening to this masterpiece. It is the greatest remix ever and does not include the line "Ghostbusters!" at all!

Is it bad that I already know what video that is without playing it?
I have a lot of nerddoms - I’m about to fly off to a party in Hobbiton, FFS - but Ghostbusters will always be bae.

There is now an episode by episode podcast for Veronica Mars. I haven't started it yet so I personally can't recommend it but I will dive in after football season ends.

Jane Lynch is on the latest episode of Andy Richter's podcast. I'm about halfway through and it's a great conversation for those who love stories about improv in Chicago?NYC in the 90s. Not being a smartass I love this stuff.

I really want to check out the new Andy Daly/Sean Conroy podcast as well as the PFT and Nicole Parker one where they improv scenes based on actual posts from those Nextdoor community websites. The ones where people just complain about everything in their neighborhood.

Both should be great.
i literally just finished the first episode of the neighborhood listen. i'm not immediately hooked, but it was silly and fun and i'll keep it on my list because i just always trust pft to deliver. also, teacher's lounge first official earwolf episode with pft is up today and it's as wonderful as expected. just the character name "original fig" made me realize the switch to earwolf isn't going to change the absolute goofiness of the show.
