Double post incoming, but him barely being on "Ultralight Beam" is probably one of the reasons why he's not playing it either.
On another note, it seems like this tour is giving him an excuse to dig into his discography, which I prefer over hearing all of TLOP plus a few greatest hits.
I'm not a huge fan of the fact that he's playing almost all of TLOP live but I'm still excited for his show. Surprised he has only been playing 2 Yeezus songs.
Iman coming in hot!!! Not gonna lie though for some reason the first time I watched it, I thought it was Desiigner. Then...it hit me, fuggin Iman Shumpert. Win championships, put on soft core porn with your wife to be for Kanye. What a life.

not to mention his gf is a cat.
Right?! Beastiliaty making a comeback in 2016, apparently. I'm also not sure if that's how you even spell "beastiliaty," but I was too afraid to look it up on my computer.

It's spelled bestiality, which is creepier to me than beAstiality. Like the person who decided how to spell it though it was the BEST and named it accordingly.

The sound was terrible (and I was in a good position to know), most of Pablo isn't very good live, we got the shortest set of any show on the tour so far, which is really something when you consider how little Kanye is actually on / actually performs some of the stuff he's been doing.
The mix was muddy, even by Kanye overdoing it standards. "Flashing Lights" for example, was a mess because the synths were essentially non-existent. Even the songs that are supposed to be low-end heavy and full of bombast just sounded kind of ugly.
I get that "Ultralight Beam", "Pop Style", "THat Part", "Waves", "I Love Kanye" and "Fade" are songs people like. I like most of them too. But they're an utter waste to do live, for the most part. Kanye finished stronger and I don't think he said more a few more words during Fade and Ultralight Beam and that was the end of the show.
We didn't get Saint Pablo, 30 Hours, Devil in a New Dress, Real Friends, FML, All Falls Down, Amazing, all of which have been performed at least once prior on the tour - we're the only ones so far who didn't get 30 Hours and Amazing.
I just feel like that for an hour and 40 minute show, Kanye actually performed for like half and spit maybe 15 verses. Of the three times I've seen him, this was far and away the least enjoyable.

I was there too and we snuck on the floor through someone who works at the TD Garden. The mix was definitely muddy, but we had wax earplugs which made everything sound better. I can imagine it sounding worse in the seats though.
Agreed with your points on the TLOP tracks and the fact that we got a shorter show without the deep cuts/slower tracks. Other than that, it was awesome, the floor experience was wild. I liked him better at MIA Philly, but finally got to hear Flashing Lights and Gold Digger, and Blood on the Leaves killed it once again.

this is pretty lol in retrospect
12-14 TLOP songs every night + the 2 recent tracks that didn't end up on Pablo. 4 Graduation. 3 MBDTF. 6ish total from 808s/Yeezus/Late Registration/College Dropout. The only ones he's breaking out that he didn't do throughout all or part of 2013 and 2014 are Gold Digger and Devil in a New Dress, and the latter has been rare.

I was in Loge 5, which is to the right of the sound booth, and not that far from the floor. I had earplugs and it didn't make a whole lot of difference. I was in a very similar spot for the Yeezus show at the Garden 3 years ago and the sound was much better, the production itself was much better, and the setlist was much better (even considering that he played all 10 Yeezus songs, which has a couple of ehhh selections).
I hate to say it, but last night felt pretty half-ass.
