2. ATOMOS by A Winged Victory For The Sullen 3. You're Dead by Flying Lotus 4. I forgot Where We Were by Ben Howard 5. Burnt Offering by The Budos Band
^I'm really glad someone voted for that. Props on HM to Budos too.
Thanks. If it wasn't for this form I wouldn't of heard of The Budos Band. So for that, I got to thank all the people that post in the Now Playing Dos thread. Y'all rock.
final tally? Did you not vote this month, Pops? go ahead and we'll count it.
Sorry - I forgot. I listened to a ton over the weekend and then didn't vote. Not that it would have mattered, but I loved October and my rankings would be:
1/Flying Lotus 2/Caribou 3/Ex Hex 4/Grouper 5/Kiasmos 6/Philip Selway 7/A Winged Victory for the Sullen 8/Museum of Love 9/RTJ 10/Pharmakon
If I allowed myself to break my own rule of LPs only, though, The Inter Arma EP and Flying Lotus would have been locked in a tough battle.

Is Inter Arms really considered an EP? It's like 40 minutes. Side note: I would have liked it if they expanded on some of their ideas and made it even longer. Like that section that sounds exactly Beach House.

Yeah I don't understand why it's called an EP - but it's one, 45-minute track and yes, it is considered an EP. And I agree about the expanding part - except my guess is the Inter Arma boys didn't want any one part within the track feel like it was being dragged out.
TV on the Radio: There's a special place in hell for bands that use the "Everything's gonna be OK" lyric. And extra spooning sessions with Satan for "Don't worry be happy."
