My goal this year is to eat at least breakfast and some lunches at camp but I don't know what to cook! I have a two-burner camp stove (propane), two pots and a skillet. Most of the meals I cook at home require baking and/or fairly involved preparation so I need some new ideas. I am looking for quick, easy, and delicious. Thanks!
(Apologies if this thread already exists, but I couldn't find one.)
I'm hoping to do the same thing. I've got stuff for breakfast burritos- eggs, cheese, sausage, veggies- I pre cooked sausage and froze it. I also cooked some hamburger and froze it. And I froze a marinated flank steak. Lots of tortillas and pitas. And veggies that sautée well- zuchinni, squash, mushrooms, peppers, onions.
I am in charge of breakfast @ my camp castleroo. Here are some of the things I cook for roo Omelets - ham & cheese Camp potatoes - throw chopped onion, butter, & chopped potatoes into pan and cover. 20-30 min add butter when needed French toast - easy just egg, cinnamon, bread Bacon/sausage Fruit concoction - cut strawberries, bananas, blueberries in a bowl. Mix juice from one lemon &tbsp of honey in seperate bowl/ stir and pour over mix fruit. Choc chip pancakes - just add water Grits
