Look, nobody really gives a sh*t if Foster took some money or free food or whatever, but lets not pretend like every scholarship athlete doesn't have the max meal plan available. Don't give me that "I only took it because I was hungry" bullsh*t.
Technically the statute of limitations has passed, but I don't know how that is affected by being on probation already. And there is always some loophole if they need one.

Yeah. Anything he did was three coaches ago, so I assumed the NCAA really couldn't do much. It's just never good to see your team in the headlines for something like that especially with the probation.
He had good footwork after landing the punch. That is something, at least.
Flanz, on Gameday this morning, Fowler put $100 on nobody knowing the last opponent Arkansas played in the Northeast. Herbstreit guessed someone else, but the correct answer was Fordham. Fowler then offered Herbstreit $20 if he could say where Fordham was located. Herbstreit went deer in headlights for a second until the stat guy mouthed it to him off camera.
That 1st half was awful. It did not matter who was QB our Defense was not going to let UT win, but glad to see murph has some legs and I will admit i think he is an upgrade.

Agreed. I have seen a couple of news updates about Florida since the game today. All of them phrase it like "Oh no! What is Florida going to do?!?!??!". I don't think these people watched the game.
Fun fact: Scrog punched a kitten once. In response, Florida gave him an honorary doctorate.
It was a kick, not a punch. Good game though.
Well, the second half was good. I believe we can bother agree to forget the first half ever happened. Tennessee didn't fall apart when they got behind which is something at least. Also, I think the Peterman experiment this game will be nice at least to quiet some of the people who would otherwise be raging to pull Worley after every incompletion.
Edit: I almost forgot. Holy sh*t, Pops. Your boys beat WV's ass today.

Not watching the game, i can not blame them, CBS and those two idiots are the worst to watch football with. Yeah, Driskel tried to be a scrambling QB, but he was not good at it. I am very happy with murph today. People should be worried about the OL and those injuries. In the past that game has gotten ugly for other reasons, not bad football play, but today looked to be a clean game.

Yeah that was fun. I mean WV isn't nearly what they've been the past 10 years or so, but MD has been their lady dog for so long, it was nice back there in the woodshed. Should get some votes in the polls. Which will last for exactly two weeks until they get destroyed down at Doak Campbell.

surprised he's still on the team. supposedly the guy hit him first, but still no excuse for that. he's a 3rd string tackle anyway, probably won't ever see the field again.
“Total embarrassment to this program. That can't happen. The only thing positive that I can say is a lot of times when you have an issue with someone who's in the wrong, that person is defiant. But he wasn't that way. He was immediately remorseful and felt bad about it. But you can't take things back. Just a poor, poor decision and a classless act on his part. He'll definitely be out this ballgame and he'll be disciplined the whole practice and every practice the next five days. Hopefully he'll learn and grow from it. I think he already has. He can't ever make that mistake again, not here at Clemson."

Sorry Sang, but who are you quoting? Sounds like a poor excuse for a team trying to build up their football street cred. Most teams do that with their pads and not cheap shots on a guy that weighs 100 lbs less them. He should never make that mistake at Clemson again, because he should be off them team.
I used to like Clemson, but that is changing and now I am looking forward to Maryland beating them.
And Sang, 3rd team players do not start games like this guy has been.
I am interested to see shat the ACC has to say about this.

I was quoting Dabo. but what are talking about? a team trying to build street cred? this was one guy that doesn't play much doing something incredibly stupid. you talk like we have a team full of thugs and that couldn't be further from the truth. I'm confused by your perception, nothing like that has ever happened with this team since Dabo has been there. I agree with you that he should be off the team. I am surprised that he is not because we don't have the type of program that tolerates things like that. he's not a starter, but that's totally irrelevant anyway. even he was a starter he should be off the team.

Oregon had no problem suspending Blount for the remainder of his senior season, though he did get to play in the bowl game that year.
Personally, I think everyone makes mistakes and it is a violent game. It could be more damaging for the young athlete to kick him off the team rather than using another, strict form of discipline. From the Dabo quote, it sounds like the Clemson lineman can expect practices to be brutal.
