Why'd you miss Phoenix at Roo last year? Such a fantastic show.
Because Neutral Molk Hotel was playing at the same time yo
And my dumb ass was waiting in the Kanye pit line, which I didn't get into. Missing NMH is my biggest regret from last year. I've seen them twice since then but I still have yet to see Phoenix.

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Tom Waits is at the very top of my bucket list along with Leonard Cohen. Also: Steve Reich Kronos Quartet Bordomes
Cohen live is a great experience. I got to mark him off at Coachella '09.
Jealous. I got to see The Rolling Stones 3 nights in a row on their Voodoo Lounge Tour because I was the guy who would tear your ticket at the doors. Brian Adams opened...he didn't stand a chance. EVERY night he'd receive a smattering of applause after each song then announce "We've got 1 more..." and would be cut off by a deafening roar from the crowd followed by people laughing. I felt bad for the guy.
Bands (Going beyond 10. For an 18-year old I have a lot of bucket list acts)
1. LCD Soundsystem. No question. 2. Daft Punk 3. Blur 4. Metallica (Crossing off on August 1) 5. Radiohead 6. Gorillaz 7. The Strokes 8. The Rolling Stones (How much are train tickets to Milwaukee?) 9. Foo Fighters 10. The National 11. Modest Mouse 12. Phoenix 13. Muse 14. Todd Terje 15. Weezer (Crossing off July 8) 16. Future Islands
Former Bucket List Bands

Woohoo! Actually get to cross a name off the list. Saw Kraftwerk play in Nashville last night and it was excellent. Had big regrets for not going to Moogfest to see them a few years ago so glad it still worked out in the end. They gave a 2 1/2 hour show which I wasn't expecting so that also went a long way to make up for the missed Ashville opportunity because they did 3 separate shows over that weekend. My new revamped top 10 is:
1. Led Zeppelin 2. Pink Floyd 3. Talking Heads 4. The Smiths 5. Daft Punk 6. Sly and the Family Stone 7. Portishead 8. Massive Attack 9. Tom Waits 10. The Byrds
Having by now seen most of the acts I'd really want to, my bucket list (consisting of those groups/artists which themselves haven't already kicked the bucket) is pretty unlikely.
1. Led Zeppelin 2. Pink Floyd 3. Talking Heads 4. The Smiths 5. Kraftwerk 6. Sly and the Family Stone 7. The Byrds 8. Portishead 9. Daft Punk 10. Joni Mitchell
Others outside the top 10 include Massive Attack, The Sex Pistols, Tom Waits, Roxy Music, Primal Scream, The Stone Roses, Creedence Clearwater Revival and New Order.
In no particular order Prince Clapton and Bowie but those probably won't be possible Arcade Fire Beck Roger Waters Bob Seger Sufjan Stevens NineIinch Nails Queens of the Stone Age KC and the sunshine band De La Sol Common The Rolling Stones ELO Duran Duran Hall & Oates
Kanye West...even though I've seen him three times. My bucket list is to be up front, and to be at a show where he tells everyone to open up some circles.

lol @ KC & the Sunshine Band being on someone's list. No state fair where you live?
My bucketlist has shrunk big time over the past few years. Seen Prince, The Stones, The Cure, The Prodigy etc etc etc
David Bowie Black Sabbath Hawkwind King Crimson Led Zeppelin/Page & Plant Roger Waters/David Gilmour Portishead Daft Punk Shpongle Live Band Madonna Al Di Meola Aphex Twin Ozric Tentacles At The Drive-In Rob Zombie/White Zombie Dolly Parton King Diamond ** Seeing them on 11/15
Prior to 2015: Paul McCartney Pink Floyd (Gilmour or Waters) Neil Young Foo Fighters The Prodigy Daft Punk Pearl Jam The Chemical Brothers Tool (For the 2nd time)
Now: Paul McCartney Pink Floyd (Gilmour or Waters) Neil Young Foo Fighters The Prodigy Daft Punk Pearl Jam The Chemical Brothers Tool (For the 2nd time)
Also, I have tickets for Gilmour in 2016. Been a great year
I love this idea. I keep a Top 50 at all times just for fun. I've already emptied my bucket list a few times, but these are next in line.
1. The Fugees 2. Paul McCartney - Saw 3. Pink Floyd/Roger Waters 4. Outkast - Saw 5. Cardigans 6. Lauryn Hill - Saw 7. Prince - Saw 8. Simon and Garfunkel 9. Sufjan Stevens - Saw 10. James Taylor - Saw
This is assuming Zed Zeppelin and The Smiths never reunite. If either do they would go into the top 10.
After seeing a few shows, my updated list:
1. The Fugees 2. Pink Floyd/Roger Waters 3. Cardigans 4. Prince - Saw 5. Simon and Garfunkel 6. James Taylor - Saw 7. Shad 8. The Cure - Saw 9. Ringo Starr - Saw 10. Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians
Updated updated list 1. The Fugees 2. David Gilmour 3. Roger Waters 4. The Cardigans 5. Will Smith 6. Simon and Garfunkel 7. Shad 8. Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians 9. Aerosmith 10. Justin Timberlake
Assuming Pink Floyd, Zep, The Smiths, and Talking Heads never reunite.
RIP Bowie & Prince. They may be the most commonly listed artists on these lists (Prince more so than Bowie). Glad some of you finally got to cross Prince off before he was gone. <3
1. David Gilmour 2. Daft Punk 3. Rage Against the Machine 4. Radiohead 5. Fleet Foxes 6. The Rolling Stones 7. Arcade Fire (saw one of the surprise pre-Reflektor shows, but haven't seen a real show) 8. Paul Simon 9. Iggy Pop & the Stooges 10. Bruce Springsteen
HM: The Raconteurs, Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, Queens of the Stone Age, Emmylou Harris, The Allman Brothers
Unrealistic Reunions: Talking Heads Led Zeppelin R.E.M. The White Stripes Oasis Simon & Garfunkel The Fugees
Since I was last here I got to see TOOL, LCD Soundsystem, and I'm counting Mark Knopfler as Dire Straits since I don't think that's ever happening. Bowie and Prince are out too
1. Radiohead 2. The Smiths 3. Queens Of The Stone Age 4. Daft Punk 5. Talking Heads or just David Byrne 6. MF DOOM 7. David Gilmour 8. Eric Clapton 9. Soulwax 10. Kyuss
Honorable Mentions: 11. The White Stripes 12. Royksopp 13. Aphex Twin 14. Cat Stevens 15. Gorillaz 16. D'angelo 17. Portishead 18. Jay Z 19. The Antlers 20. Of Montreal
1. Radiohead (I know ) 2. Daft Punk 3. Rage Against the Machine 4. The Strokes 5. The Smiths 6. Arcade Fire 7. The Libertines 8. The Kinks 9. At the Drive-In 10. Blur/The Gorillaz
Only have seen the Strokes since this :/
My bucket list is still pretty much the same just add My Bloody Valentine where the Strokes were
Depeche Mode Daft Punk Pink Floyd (or even just Roger Waters / David Gilmour solo would suffice) The Smiths Adele The Prodigy Portishead Tears for Fears (only saw like 10 mins of their set last year so I don't really count it) The Gorillaz Massive Attack
HM: Journey- I give no fucks about your judgement. And for some reason I have just missed them any time they've been near me. Ringo Starr- wouldn't consider him solo a "bucket list" act for me, per se, but I would hands down go because of how much I love The Beatles and I would like to be able to tell my future kids that I saw both remaining Beatles before they passed. (Harrison passed when I was 11 and before I became a Beatles fan, so I never had a chance there). Radiohead- I will be seeing them at ACL this year and am a pretty new fan, so I wouldn't put them in top 10 bucket list, but I do appreciate how big of a deal seeing them this year will be for me.
Possibly seeing in the foreseeable future: Morrissey is on tour and will be in San Antonio come November, so I'm going to try and go to that, which will probably be the closest I ever get to seeing The Smiths. I technically have an Adele ticket, but we'll see if I get fucked out of it. There are serious Daft Punk rumors swirling for Coach 2017, so fingers crossed those pan out.... I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
