This was one of those bands I was really hoping would be playing this year but felt that Bonnaroo would drop the ball on getting. Never been so happy to be wrong about something, can't wait!

I was wondering the same thing. The new album was on ATO and Bonnaroo loves some ATO bands. I'm still geeking over this.

I didnt have any idea until I watched the DVD. And I was like fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Seriously. They might be enough on their own to get me to the farm again.

I was a huge fan of these guys back in college, but I kind of forgot about them when they fell off the map for a few years. Honestly, I figured they had broken up. I'm glad they're back it. Their self-titled album was the first vinyl record I ever bought (along with SYR2).
The newest album is a major shift, but it's clearly still the product of the same band. Interested to hear the new songs live.

I want to say that one of them went on a solo tour for a little while. I'm pretty sure I saw him open for Felice Brothers or some Deer Tick or some other similar band.

I haven't listed to these guys in a couple years, but I was pleasantly surprised to see them on the lineup. I will have to dive back into them a bit, hope I get to see them.

I was excited to see them on the line up. Now, I'm listening to their newest album and I'm even more excited. This album has so much depth, I feel it'll translate really well live.

This is my favorite band, has been for years and years and even though they have played roo twice, they are pulling me back. I thought I was only going to one smaller festival this year but sure enough I am plotting things to make and sell just to make it to this years roo.....again... And a big part of that is Two Gallants They are not to be missed.
I need to see more of the P4K lineup before I make a decision. Right now there isnt anyone that slays me so hard that I must go since Bjork and R Kelly are also there.
I missed them last time they played Roo. I consider it my biggest oversight of any festival ever.
I feel pretty much the same way. Had no idea who they were till I saw the '08 DVD and I love that song! Definitely wanna catch these guys this time around.

I'm in this boat. I was obsessed with The Throes and then What the Toll Tells when it came out. Saw them at Bottletree on that tour and was completely blown away. I think it's odd they made the jump from Saddle Creek to ATO, they seemed such a good fit. I haven't even thought about them since probably '08='09, going to have to check out the newer album.

Be prepared for a shock. The chemistry is the same, the drumming is the same, but it has a grunge-folk-metal vibe that wasn't anywhere on the first three albums.
It took a few days for me to warm up to it. There is some filler on there, which kinda makes me sad. The previous records didn't really have any. I was kinda freaking out when I saw they signed to ATO, but in all fairness, I'd rather see ATO than a lot of other labels. Every one of the major "indies" have a P&D deal these days, I'm sure Saddle Creek isn't any different.
I'm still 100% for this. It sits in my #3 "must-see" slot, right behind Wilco and Swans.
