So you are just subjecting us all to your ramblings because you mistakenly think the we enjoy them?
sorry man, no I was just bringing a small reminder that sometimes shiz falls through, or gets communicated incorrectly. So until that lineup drops, it's of course within the realm of possibility that Macca won't be on it, that's all.
I'm more interested in Mumford in all the mocks, because I've yet to read a source on them, so aside from the pure logic of them following the KOL Tent, Which, What path, do we have any confirmation that they are playing this year?
Well also logic says there will be a yoinger act near the top of ths bill. A lot of other options are being ruled out due to availabilty. So that doesnt leave a ton of options. So just mind of makes sense.
April 12-14th - Indio, CA - Coachella Weekend 1
May 3-5th - Memphis, TN - Beale St. Music Festival
June 13-16th - Manchester, TN - Bonnaroo
July 12-14th - Louisville, KY - Forecastle Festival
August 2-4th - Chicago, IL - Lollapalooza
September 27-29th - Atlanta, GA - TomorrowWorld
October 25-27th - Asheville, NC - Mountain Oasis
Radiohead + RHCP + Phish roughly = Macca + Kanye + Petty $ wise, maybe a little more, but not like 500k more (Im guessing)
Bjork + Beck + Deadmau5 + Wu-Tang + Wilco + Passion Pit + Vampire Weekend roughly = Skrillex + Bon Iver + Avett Bros + Shins + The Roots + Foster the People + Beach Boys
Not that far off at all in my estimation. I mean, Im not going to pretend to try and guess at the exact numbers but I went through and matched band for band and what kind of places each were selling out and it seems pretty even on the second group.
I wish it would happen, but Im sure it won't. I just don't see it as unrealistic.

Im guessing Radiohead+RHCP+Phish=about $47 more than just Macca. And Im guessing Kanye and Petty are then #2, and #3 on the $ list.
Can we just say there's a 40% chance daft punk is playing? I know way back somebody said somebody who knew somebody said this was the 1st year an EDM artist was headlining. This is most likely malarky, but I'm pretty drunk right now, and it makes me feel better thinking there's a chance. I'll apologies for this tomorrow. For the last time: Macca - Daft Punk - Tom Petty - Mumford and Sons - Björk
