I'm actually happy the Roots conflict, because I don't want that show to be overrun.
Roots on What will not be overrun. It will be a mind-blowing set. But Mogwai and Danzig doing Misfits/Samhain are rare sights for me. I hate to pass on Roots set, especially this one, but I may have to miss it.
I don't mean overrun in the sense that it'll have people hanging from trees and sh*t like at Mumford/Which, but more that people won't pack in so tightly that I can't even boogie. I still think they'll have a huge crowd, though.
Mogwai/The Roots for sure Rod y Gab/St. Vincent/Dawes Pelican/Charles Bradley/Darondo Kendrick Lamar/Phantogram Major Lazer/Black Star/Valient Thorr Battles/Flogging Molly/Charles Bradley film Beach Boys/WoD/Antlers
Avett's vs. Fitz - Easy decision with the Avett's with a new album, but I really wanted to check Fitz out
Dawes vs. St. Vincent vs. Rodrigo y Gabriella - Another easy decision when it comes down to it because Dawes would lose to no one, but this hurts. St. Vincent is an angel.
Temper Trap vs. Blind Pilot vs. Deep Dark Woods - Gotta go with Temper Trap, most likely. Going to be at that stage already, no use moving and coming back.
Sarah Jarosz vs. Delta Spirit vs. Gary Clark Jr. - This one pisses me off like no other. Delta Spirit deserves more than 45 minutes at the beginning of the day. Gary Clark will win this because I just saw Delta Spirit, but this one hurts.
Bon Iver vs. The Civil Wars vs. Young The Giant vs. The Shins - Going to be Bon Iver into the Civil Wars for me. I was hoping to see the Shins and Young, but oh well. I might jump over to the very end of YtG's set for My Body.....

My two worst are:
Art vs. Science/Alice Cooper/Superjam - I just know that Alice Cooper is going to kill it (no pun intended), but Art vs. Science is going to be a dance party like no other.
Laura Marling/Two Door Cinema Club/Caitlin Rose - No idea.
But seriously, there's so much that I hate about this schedule. It's basically split into two kinds of time: downtime and conflicts.

Sunday in general is a conflict
Delta Spirit Vs. ALO Vs. Fruit Bats Vs. Sarah Jarosz Vs. Sister Sparrow
Beach Boys Vs. City & Colour Vs. The War On Droogs Vs. The Silent Comedy
The Shins Vs. The Civil Wars Vs. The Slient Comedy (Sonic) Vs. Machines Are People Too
(None of these are near as bad as last year's Sunday though - Robert Plant Vs. The Strokes Vs. Superjam Vs. Beruit Vs. Explosions In The SKY Vs. Aaron Wood - That was just evil)
Major Lazer vs. the Word is by far the worst conflict for me. Can't believe the Word isn't later in the night.
Second worst is The War on Drugs vs. Beach Boys. Easy decision to see the Beach Boys, but the War on Drugs has been one of my favorite bands over the past year.
Ben Folds Five vs. Bon Iver. I've made my peace with it, though. I've been a fan of the Five since way back when, and I've always wanted to hear those songs live and don't know if I'll ever get another chance to. I'll probably get to see Bon Iver sometime in the future. Still a bummer to miss the first third of their/his set, though.
Alice Cooper vs. Superjam hurts me, especially since there's nothing I want to see on the second half of that Late Night so I wish one or the other would move.
Rodrigo y Gabriela vs. Sara Watkins sucks also. As does The Word vs. Valient Thorr.
1. SBTRKT and Santigold conflict is killing me. 2. Black Star vs. Major Lazer hurts esp. with such a short Black Star show. 3. Ludacris vs. St. Vincent will have me running between stages but I can live with it but...
choosing between Santigold getting the What Stage and SBTRKT period is re-cockulous (And WHY daytime?! Hate the LN on Saturday so far... but ya know, will have fun anyway)
