I won tickets to see the Beach Boys on June 12 in Cincinnati, but I'll still probably see them at Bonnaroo. I'm seeing City and Colour at the Bunbury Festival in July. So maybe I should go with the Antlers?
2. Avett Brothers vs. Fitz & the Tantrums
One of the worst conflicts for me of the bigger names, aside from late night Saturday - SuperJam vs. Alice Cooper vs. Spectrum Road - I'll probably catch a little of each. Fitz is an easy choice though because I've seen the Avetts and have been wanting to see Fitz for awhile now.

You simply cannot go wrong with The Antlers. It's not possible.

^ I'm hoping to get into the pit for the Roots.
I can't decide between if I want to go to Ludacris > FTP or Dawes > Radiohead. No way can I do Luda to Dawes to Foster because the Luda > FTP is gonna be a cluster fuck. I could skip both acts and catch all of Dawes and get a good spot for Radiohead but Luda and FTP are gonna be fun shows.
It's looking like Luda > FTP and catching Dawes on sonic the next day. Anyone else hating that conflict?
You really think it will be that large - or are the people on here, including myself, just hyped up about that show?
unless things get fixed with the van halen disaster and lack of a friday which stage act, I think we're looking at thursday-esque crowds for all the friday/saturday shows.
Yeah the LN this year is legitimately worrying me. I really don't want to deal with Sleigh Bell like crowds at every tent every night. I hope they sort all this out
Do they ever tweak the schedule? Ive been twice but it was before I had kids and I didnt study the schedule and count down the days leading up to it then. I was just curious if there was a history of them changing things after the schedule is released? Also i know they have surprise shows like the Deervana set last year. Are these usually in the cafes? My biggest conflict is Fitz and the Tantrums vs Avett Brothers. I'll be going to Avett but mostly because you can get tix to Fitz shows for >30 dollars whereas you are going to drop 50 to see the Avett Bros.
Bonnaroo 2005 Bonnaroo 2006 Daughter Born 2007 Raising Babies 2008 Is Tough and Expensive 2009 2nd Daughter Born 2010 We Are Losing Our Minds 2011 Bonnaroo 2012 (thank goodness for Grandma!)
1) Blackstar vs. The Word (2nd year in a row my top 2 acts conflict) 2) Sam Bush/Trampled by Turtles vs. Avetts 3) Devil Makes Three vs. Darondo 4) Umphreys vs Dumpstaphunk 5) Punch Brothers vs. NMA Duo 6) Superjam vs. Spectrum Road 7) Bon Iver vs. Civil Wars
Yeah, I got some tough decisions to make. Probably more conflicts than I've had since '07. Thinkin I'll go TBT with the hopes of Sam Bush joining them. If Umphrey's is crowded I might wander to Dumpstaphunk. And I won't miss a Superjam unless I look on stage and see a Poison cover band or something (not out of the realm of possibility apparently).

The answer is yes, sometimes they do change it from now until festival. Last year they swapped someone with Omar Souleyman for LN. I forget who but they ended up with a day set. And it was common in the earlier years for them to shift some set times 15-30 minutes here and there. I wouldn't count on any big changes, but ya never know when you'll get a Bootsy Collins or Kanye situation.

Black Star vs. Major Lazer...still don't know who I'm going to see
Then there is the whole scenario of Santigold vs. SBTRKT and The Roots vs. Mogwai. The kicker is all four of these acts somewhat overlap with Childish Gambino, who I missed last year.
I'm not devastated that I will miss some of RHCP to see Augustines, but it's the fact that it will take forever to walk from What Stage to the Miller Lounge, during headlining time.
Also, Avetts/Fitz and Tantrums/Hey Rosetta! is a tough conflict.

delta spirit and fruit bats, its a shame that my conflicts are earlier in the day, seems like they couldve worked that out since they so similary. Oh and rhys darby playin 3 times, during fruit bats, beach boys and floggin molly. Might just skip Molly.. boo.
Anyone know if I can get a comedy ticket for Rhys Darby earlier in the day and then show up later with a guarenteeed entry?

I'm so glad i'm not alone in wanting to see We Are Augustines! I was thrilled when I got the email that they were added to the lineup.
OKAY. My biggest Conflicts:
Friday: Avett Brothers - Fitz & The Tantrums (I've heard Fitz is incredible live) Feist - Trampled by Turtles (i'll probably try to slip into Turtles' set on Saturday after I catch Bad Brains, because I really do not want to miss Feist.)
Delta Spirit - Fruit Bats (Fruit bats win out. Unless someone can convince me otherwise.) War on Drugs - The Antlers (I NEED to see The Antlers. Sorry WOD) Joy Formidable - Kurt Vile - Bon Iver (OMFG. Whaaaat?) Bon Iver - The Shins - Fun. - The Civil Wars (I'll ditch civil wars and fun. to see the f*cking SHINS.... but i really want to see allll of their set and ALL of Bon Iver.)
Quack. I guess I'll need to get a head start on my cardio, because i'm going to be running all over the place?
How are you guys going to pull off running between sets?
