heh the cops had fun with the wsp fans last year, I wasn't doing anything illegal and they were staring at me like i was a huge criminal.
They will have even more fun with the Phish fans if they play
The Wharf would be nice... or on the beach
I've heard the Oak Mtn rumors, too; Friday before Labor Day weekend. My buddy already hotel reservations just in case.
I was at that Panic show last year. I didn't think the cops were overbearing in the lot, but I agree, the vibe was kind of weird. I heard they were running dogs through interior hotel corridors. You hear about that?
I worked at the Chick Fil A behind Oak Mountain for many years and grew up and still live in the area now with my family. The cops are as bad as advertised. If possible, there are hotels less than 5 miles away in Hoover which will be pretty good or about 10 miles away on Highway 280. You also have the state park right there. All hotels within walking distance (about 7 or 8) are sure to be heavily policed again. Either way, I am really looking forward to this show.

Atlanta is a Sat... it's doable but thats an awful long trip
I might do Atlanta, I am thinking it is more likely and probably not much more expensive to fly to Denver. I think the camping vs hotels gas etc should wash out to about even.

If I could relive my phish bonnaroo 2009 experience, I would scoop up a ticket no questions asked and never regret it.
But the 2 shows I saw on the miami new years run 2009, although great in their own right, deeply paled in comparison to the religious experience I had at bonnaroo. I'd have been dissapointed to make such a ridiculously long trip for shows on par with those. Not sure what I'll do here..
yeah oak mtn is pretty small. and Alabama is chock full of phans. in Birmingham alone they'll sell quite a few nostalgia tickets.
so updating my predictions:
oak mtn - sells out quick, but as long as you are online right when they go onsale you should be OK. aftermarket doable for face for those who are persistent.
Lakewood - sells out eventually. $30 lawns aftermarket
Charlotte - doesn't sell out, $20 lawns aftermarket
looks like BGCC will be the hardest tickets this tour.
I understand that it's tradition and all, but the Worcester DCU Center is a piece of shit from top to bottom. There's so many better venues in Massachusetts.

I coulda used more love for the southeast but oh, well. Roo, Charlotte and Alabama is all i can pull this year. Wish i could goo to Atlanta but have had a warrant out for my arrest since 2010 Alpharetta. On of my favorite live Phish shows w/ my first Harpua followed by 2 hours of sobreity tests (passed!), passenger has one roach in backpack sending us both to jail in Milton,GA. I ain't never goin back!
I advise anyone who can make it to Dick's to do so. Awesome place, good grass camping. Great beers (liquor store)- cool venue
I have 2 extras for each night at Deer Creek. $200 (cheaper than face with taxes and fees). I would prefer to sell them all together. I'm broke and decided to sell them to use the money for Roo tickets! send me a pm if interested.
I'm waiting to hear on what the deal is with the Ron Paul festival! If it ends up being crazy I'm selling me Bham & ATL tix and going down there for two days, then seein' Santana Sunday night in Tampa then rabblerousing at the RNC.
