we got there at 2.30 and it was already closed lmao
Wait, you got there at 2:30AM on a Thurs night and it was closed!?!?!?!?!?
yeah it was weird as fuck. We met some people outside that live in Berlin and have been a bunch of times and they were also really confused. But they took us to this other dope club so it was fine.
It's a club/bar randomly on top of a massive parking garage with an amazing view of the Berlin skyline. We followed some locals there and were so confused when we got off the elevator and into the 2nd to top level of the parking garage, only to find that you walk up to the top and there is a massive club sitting there.
Also I don't remember the name, but there is this random techno club next door, literally in the basement of a residential apartment complex that is super cool. It's got a cave vibe to it with multiple rooms.
Just realized this fest is going to be going on when I'm in Amsterdam so hopefully I can get to it. I really wanna see DJ Koze, Moodymann, Stephan Bodzin, Aurora Halal, and Fouk. Is there anyone else on their that I really shouldn't miss?

Daniel Avery. He'll be playing FYF too, though.
I'm a fan but he's playing at the same time as Stephan Bodzin. I'll probably have to skip him at both feats.

As great as Movement was, this may be my favorite strictly electronic festival lineup in the U.S. Fred and Larry Farnsworth, up in your neck of the woods. Looks like tickets are sold out, but maybe worth looking into to see if you can swing it.

I've seen the lineup recently, and I immediately rushed to their website for tickets... only to find out they use a membership-only ticketing system. I was disappointed.

Was that the case for the original batch of 1k tickets? Wonder what groups/organizations you need a membership for in this case.
Yeah, for the first round you could only buy a ticket for yourself if you're a member, and in the second round, it was possible to buy a ticket for your guest. I subscribed to their email list for future editions, but couldn't yet find any info on how to be a member.

Very interesting...guessing they want to keep it relatively low-key.
I'm pretty sure DJ Koze cancelled on me last night, but it was still an awesome time! Moodymann, Fouk, and Rebolledo were all really good and Stephen Bodzin was really great.
