Been using Fort Romeau's Spotify Radio and discovered these awesome artists:
Youandewan Route 8 Chaos in the CBD HNNY New Jackson Seb Wildwood Max Graef
All more house than techno, but all really good stuff.
Saw Chaos in the CBD in march they were amazing. Their jazzier stuff like 78 to Stanley Bay and Midnight in Peckham are my favorites. HNNY is also the shit but stopped DJing cuz of mental health issues /: but Most Really Pretty Girls Have Pretty Ugly Feet by him is a classic.

Fav albums/EPs from this year? Really digging the DJ Sports and Octo Octa albums as of late, overall loved the Talaboman album and enjoyed the Visible Cloaks and Bonobo albums.
Also, what's the best way to listen to the fabric mix albums?

My favorites so far are Jlin, Doon Kanda, Jacques, Daniel Brandt, and Second Woman. It's not in my top 50, but also enjoyed Talaboman and DJ Sports albums as well.

I need to listen to Jlin again, definitely not the best album to listen to for the first time when trying to do work. I did relisten to some of my favorites from that album and really enjoyed those tracks.
Talaboman seems to be underrated this year, it's probably my most listened to album of 2017 along with DAMN.

Yeah, Jlin is definitely not the album when you try to do some work. Works great in a club environment though, her live set was awesome.
Jlin is playing Berghain tomorrow so I guess I'm going to attempt that.
Good luck. Don't go with a big group of guys. Dress normal, don't try and look techno. Keep an emotionless look on your face when you get to the front. And when they ask how many in your party, remember Germans use their thumb when showing 1, 2, or 3.

yeah I'm not too worried about not getting in. It'll be an experience either way.

Go earlyish and if you dont get in, go to the KitKatClub and thank me later.
Saw Speedy J 2 nights back. Best techno show ever. Fucking relentless. Now onto Project Pablo this friday!
I actually saw Speedy J last Saturday. I don't have a lot of experience with techno but it actually was a lot of fun. I listened to a little bit of one of his sets online and I just thought it was okay, but I'm glad my friends convinced me to go.
