IU has beaten a #1 and #2 within three weeks. Hoosiers are for real this year. We got beat by MSU but that game was closer than the score, and I also think MSU is severely underrated. They're a top 5 team and IU should be #6 or #7.
Also Wisconsin getting beaten on their home court? And Purdue giving a schlacking to Illinois? The Big Ten ain't nothing to Quacks with.

Uh IU cannot win on the road. Great at home, terrible road team. 3rd or fourth best team in the Big 10. Celebrated like crazy because they FINALLY beat UK. After the repeated drubbings they had received by the Wildcats, I suppose a 1 point victory should be celebrated like crazy. I like that there coach is finally doing something and they have a decent future in front of them.
Notice that UK fans NEVER storm the court? Because you ARE SUPPOSED to win your home games.
Speaking of drubbings...where are the UNC fans today? Embarrassed does not even BEGIN to describe the beat-down by FSU. This is a team (FSU) that was held to 10 FIRST HALF POINTS BY HARVARD Hell I was embarrassed because UK only beat Tenn. by 3...and then I saw that. Is your team really a "contender" if you get beat that bad? I had high hopes for this team to at least make the eleite 8 again but...wow...interesting day indeed.

IU has the same number of losses on the road as UK. They also have more wins. And I would take three rebuilding years over the dirtiest coach in NCAA history any day of the week. It's important to run a clean program, which is something Calipari and Unibrow Davis obviously don't have over in the Lex.
As someone who bleeds Orange and Blue, always have and always will, I will troll in here time to time to talk about our 3 pt shooters. Although, I am a Gator, yesterday I watched fans storm the court in the same building I got my BS degree from. So I can comment on this. WTF! I remember, when I was in high school we were beating a team so bad, it was agreed that we would just let the clock run the second half of the game. I don't ever remember(although it was a good idea) a team going into the locker room before the game was over. I bet the 5 UNC scrubs left on the court were like, 'WTF!? what are we chopped liver?'. That was an ass-whipping!
Yea I thought that was a bit of a biznatch-move by Roy. I can understand maybe sending the players on the bench into the locker room, as well as the assistant coaches. But a head coach should stay out there, what kind of message does that send to the guys left on the court? He was clearly too embarrassed to handle himself at the moment.
He should've just followed Zeller's lead...
Also, you kids need to grow up. Indiana beat UK straight up, suck it and give credit where its due. And from the other side, its kind of pathetic anytime someone tries to argue against UK they try to make it about Calipari. As tainted as his legacy is, he has never been named in any allegations or sanctions. If you want to down UK, you can start with the fact that their glory days are well into the past, 1 final four in 15 years is nothing special.
All I can say is show and prove. It's pretty obvious to me they are back to one of the top programs, but they've yet to turn it into much. I agree its coming. My point was, that's a better argument than "BOO CALIPARI HE CHEATS OMGZZZZ!!111!!!"

i agree IU won On their home court against us. No worries there. I hope and pray we play IU in the tournament on a neutral court. TRUST me. The drubbing OSU gave you today should be a reminder. I like your coach. How many years has he "rebuilt" again at IU? Wait...didn't IU hire Kelvin Sampson? Wanna really talk about cheating? It's ok you tried...

Kelvin Sampson got fired for making too many phone calls.
John Calipari stuff recruits' pockets with $100 bills and helps them cheat/falsify their SAT scores. One of these things is not like the other.
Derrick Rose never took an SAT test, in his life. Go Cal!
For the record, I don't think someone like D-Rose should have to take an SAT, they should just verify he's smart enough to remember his 4-digit pin # and let him practice basketball for 10 hours a day.
And until I got to work I didn't realize I sproat-ed this thread with my Calipari pictures, they didn't stretch out on my laptop's screen. My bad.

How good are the Orangemen? I really have not seen them much this year. I do know Scoop Jardine seems like he's been there for 9 years (along with Robbie Hummel of Purdue)

Really good. They're REALLY athletic. Like, NBA team athletic. Just a bunch of pogo sticks, and when you go into their house that place gets rocking. I never hopped on the Cuse train like a lot of NYers now that St. John's is embarrassing, but I've always watched a lot of their games.
They are a tough matchup for anyone because they have athletic bigs, so they can play fast or slow, can go big or small, and Boeheim is a genius with working lineups to get mismatches.
Oh, and UK sucks! (Had to)
UNC back on track last night with a whooping of VA Tech (garbage points make the score look closer than it was). Kentucky, see you in March.

I look forward to watching UConn stomp into the Carrier Dome in February and end the Orange's undefeated streak.

I guess you haven't been watching Uconn games this year...
When they're on, they're one of the best teams in the country. Unfortunately, they're prone to getting lazy against underwhelming competition, and tend to find themselves dug in a hole, trying to climb out.
As far as Syracuse goes, I think UConn matches up with them better than any team in the Big East - big, athletic forwards and centers, and guards and forwards who can shoot and stretch the zone. Trust.

I agree with this. I'm just tired of hearing from my idiot roommate about how awesome Drummond is, and then watch the guy (who looks like a grown ass man playing with boys) do dogsh!t for 30 minutes.
