I fat thumbed on facebook and friend requested a stranger on a local restaurants facebook page, didn't realize it until I logged back in and 20+ of my posts and photos were liked by this person. I unfriended and now I feel bad.

My roommate was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at about 4 months and had to cut out carbs. so a common snack when she had munchies was a spoonful of peanut butter straight from the jar. Between her and my other roommate who eats about 8 pb&j a week plus sneaks spoonfuls, we went through peanut butter like nobody's business for a bit.
I really like stirring a spoonful of peanut butter into cinnamon apple oatmeal.
Holy crap I just realized my hs 20 yr reunion is next year. I probably go, I haven't been to any, but damn. I'm old.
We had a 17 yr one (that I didn't go to) and we are planning a 25 year one for next year. We only had 90 in our class, so organizing one now is very difficult. There are only like 40 of us left.
This year would be 35, but I don't have facebook, and my school doesn't exist anymore. I went to 5 and 20 I think. ----------------------------------- Fast forward this about 2 minutes until the guy in the grey shirt gets the rifle and takes his shots. I almost hate to admit I was pulling for the refrigerator. www.nola.com/outdoors/index.ssf/2017/06/why_you_should_never_shoot_a_f.html#incart_river_home

Mine too! I'll probably go. I had less than no interest in going to my 10th, lol. It sounded pretty horrible, so hopefully this one is more put together.

I haven't been to any either. I remember I didn't go to my five year reunion because five year reunions are stupid, also I'm pretty sure I was in treatment or fresh out of treatment. Also I live in my hometown and see people I went to school with regularly. It's good to see them, no bad memories, I just don't particularly want to go to a big room and eat bad food with them while some DJ plays all the R&B hits of the mid to late 90s.
twenty is just a few years away. maybe i'll go to that one. i'm married now so i'll have my wingwoman.
My name on facebook is my first and middle name only, specifically so people I went to school with can't find me. Needless to say I don't see myself attending any reunions.
A bunch of people, myself included, were not invited to my 10 year reunion. The organizers "forgot". Somebody on the not invited list took real offense and called the venue it was to be hosted at and cancelled two days in advance. It was petty, but hilarious to hear about those snobs scrambling to put something together. Maybe they'll remember all of the graduating class for our 20 year.
Honestly I just don't like doing things. The best is when we are scheduled to do a thing but the thing gets cancelled, so we get takeout and stay at home and watch TV all night. I think that is the best when that happens.

You would think that me living in my hometown would mean that I run into that people, but most of my classmates moved away. The few that haven't, we STILL don't hang in the same circle. I only see one or two every once in awhile... and one is because her husband is a 610 Stomper and being a roller girl, we do have a similar, yet not the same, circle.
I also don't remember anyone and hate everyone so those are factors as well, I might see classmates and just not "see" them. I am actually helping to find a venue for the reunion, only because after Kyle graduating and him graduating from my alma mater I am feeling a little nostalgic. I still hate like 90% of them, but haven't seen them in awhile to bring that hate out. One I see all those assholes again I can hold onto that hate for 20 more years. LOL
Plus, all the girls that were bitches are not skinny, popular girls anymore. So that helps.

Same. This would be the ideal reunion!
I regret all the things I agree to go to. PJs and netflix are the real deal.

My twenty is this year. I doubt I'll actually go, but I do appreciate that they're doing two events. One where they do your standard night out. The second is where they rent out a pavilion at a local lake and have a weekend midday cookout with family invited.

After the election, a friend of mine posted angry comments in the reunion planning group on Facebook, explaining that there was no way in hell she would go to a reunion because she was treated badly in school and she was sure the reunion would be full of "racist motherfuckers" who voted for Trump. Although a couple of people said they understood, there were plenty who argued back with her. ("I'm not a racist. My wife is Mexican.") I vocally agreed with her and argued with a couple of people that voting for Trump was indeed racist. Ultimately, the whole conversation got deleted and I left the group.
I got the e-vite for the reunion today. I declined.

Our formal one is apparently dinner and a reception at Calhoun's on a Saturday, with an informal gathering at the high school football game the night before. I didn't want to go to high school football games when I was in high school, definitely don't want to go to one now.

I was gonna tell postjack he should just have/rent/borrow a baby and he can do that every weekend!

Wait, over half of your class has died, or half of your class has moved so far away so they wouldn't even consider it?
I didn't go to my 10th, had no desire. Still have a few years til my 20th, we'll see how I feel at the time. I'd consider it unlikely at this point.
We had our 5-year reunion in the fall. One of my close friends (he is going to be in my wedding come April) was elected to organize those events and really pushed me to go. I dreaded it because I left college roughly 5 months prior and was still on the job hunt. Knew going in it would be one of those things in which everybody would ask "What are you doing these days?"
It was an okay experience, very much under-attended. My buddy was expecting almost double the crowd. Prob won't make plans to go to #10, but if I have nothing going on that weekend when the time comes maybe pull it off.

5 year reunions are a thing?
Also my 10 would be next year (if there is one, haven't heard anything) and im in that same about to leave college and try to find a job position. Definitely zero reason for shame being there after 5 years

It might be closer to 60, but only about 40 are on Facebook and that's all that showed at 17 yr reunion, not including spouses. I've actively searched for my computer lit partner, Ninja to no avail. And one is in jail for life. It's wild in NOLA.
