But I have been listening to radiohead for a very long time. you have to start with OK Computer if you are just getting into them. Then go proceed from there thru the the rest of there catalog. OKC will help you understand where Thom was going musically.

I did start with Ok Computer, then listened to a huge Spotify playlist of all their albums and yeah...they are definitely musically talented, i just dont understand how this energizes a live crowd though. Unless they are way more hype live and nobody has told me that yet...
They are just that good. The hype and energy is nothing like a punk show or a wu-tang show. You'll realize what its all about when you see em in june, get there before the set starts and stay for the whole thing.... you WILL NOT REGRET IT.

If this isn't "hype" enough for you, then I'm with Juggs, Radiohead is just not for you.
There was actually an article in Rolling Stone this past week where she was discussing her love of Russian literature. She's apparently reading the Brothers Karamazov currently.

I always thought she preferred the Irish Modernists.

I'm thinking that Radiohead may not be for you. You might want to check out this "Skrillex" fellow. Going by his name alone I thought he was some sort of Pokemon creature, but from what I understand he gets quite "hype." Godspeed.
I am not a Skrillex fan. I just dont see what all the hype is about.

Its funny that you posted two of the handful of songs I like by them. I dunno, maybe they are more exciting live than on their albums or something.
18th Century Russian Dream by Katy Perry feat. Snoop Dogg
There is a place, where the princes are really fucked up they, have bastards, and kill eachother and stuff YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE IM LIVING AN 18TH CENTURY RUSSIAN DREAM THE WAY YOU BUTCHER ME FY-O-DOR, THE WAY YOU TURN ME ON
Yo russian tsarobitches snoops in the kremlin, suck my nicolas dickov and I'll smoke my bluntstoevsky tolstoy ain't got shit on this sticky icky icky when we roll in we'll rename it st. katyperrysburg and have a cossack orgy
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

I don't know, I guess the thing is that you have to understand that a crowd at a Radiohead show is made up mostly by die-hards. There aren't many casual RH fans, for the most part. Their crowd doesn't get energized by the tempo of a song, or a consistent fast kick drum pattern, or because of structural "tricks" like bass drops. They get energized because, holy f*ck, I'm seeing Radiohead.
