Anyone have thoughts on Dre and Snoop as a headliner or in the Lil Wayne slot? It just seems weird to me that they would do a one-off Coachella appearance and then not tour. When has Snoop EVER turned down a money grab?

I doubt they'll be at Roo and if they are I think they'd get a bigger slot than Lil Wayne....but who knows? Possible but I'm not betting on it.

I think the folks that were talking about our next headliner a few pages back were right when they said the lineup seemed "rock-heavy." We're going to get another name and they're going to be pretty Anti-Radiohead.
I don't want to be a party pooper, and hopefully this has already been ruled out, but what about Rat Dog being the "headliner"? That would just be mean of Insider though, and that would be out of character.
i thought she said R, vowel, D. which pretty much leaves... RHCP, Radiohead, Rodrigo y whatever, and Rod Stewart. those last two would be a major let down as headliners.
I just mentioned it because there is a "D" after the R and the vowel, just not directly after.

And the nominees are...
Lady Gaga (ugh) The Roots Drake Dre & Snoop
The Roots and Drake wouldn't headline and we're just not getting Dre & Snoop especially with Radiohead being there.

We are still missing that big classic rock/band from the past. I think were leaning towards The Beach Boys filling that roll or are they out because of the fact that insider confirmed Radiohead and RHCP??
I also wouldn't count macca out...although it seems unlikely due to the cost of the other 3. And our rap headliner?? Drake isn't quite a full headliner. Ahhhh this is a lot to think about!!
Obama should have just come out tonight and only said "We have just found out Radiohead will be headlining the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Good night and God bless America

90% of me is saying... "Phish, RHCP, RH. Those are all of our HL's." The only problem is..... this is a little early for insider to spill all of her beans, isn't it? Maybe there is one more large name that she is withholding from us. Or maybe she just couldn't contain herself, and knew how excited most of the board would be for this, so she spilled it early.
When I first read her comment about "2 Headliners", my first thought was '2 high-marquee names playing on Saturday'

I've been meaning to post this but a few days ago I had an odd dream after falling asleep watching VH1's Top One Hit Wonders of the 90's. Basically Roo had a 90 minute session of just one hit wonders coming on stage and playing their song. It seemed awesome because you didn't know who was up next. Completely unrealistic but it'd be nice to see Roo get more creative like that. Just think, you could have Squirrel Nut Zippers into The Verve into MC Hammer into Marcy Playground into Spacehog into Crash Test Dummies etc. I have a soft spot for 90's music so maybe I'm the only one that would find this awesome.

the verve are really good and arent really a one hit wonder, except for in the literal sense. a one hit wonder is usually a artist who has one song that people know and everything else sucks and they fade into obscuruity. urban hymns was a great album, and was huge album in the uk (15th highest selling in history). if the verve were to come to roo and do one song i would be very unhappy. cant imagine i would be the only one

This is the premise of a Daniel Tosh joke.
Speaking of Tosh, any guesses to the comedy lineup? Maybe Flight of the Concords?
