Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Any Chance we Get Ben Harper, Ben Folds or O.A.R. added i think that would really bolster the lineup. They've all played Bonnaroo multiple times. I dont think Ben Harpers missed one.
I was really hoping for Folds. He's on tour right now. Going to see him at the end of March.

All of these artists have or will have NEW spring/summer albums and are going to be on tour and are NOT on this lineup:
Spoon Surfer Blood Arcade Fire (later in 2010, still they were to be looking at "festivals") Joanna Newsom Yeasayer MGMT Broken Social Scene The New Pornographers Gorillaz Beach House Los Campesinos! Cat Power Drive by Truckers Fleet Foxes (perfect band for the farm) Interpol The Strokes
THAT IS 16 BANDS with SPRING/SUMMER RECORDS. HELLO SUPERFLY!! This lineup is an utter disgrace.

The more I look at the lineup, the more I think a couple things are missing from it. I'm not saying Waters, but some high acts like Spoon and Interpol.

everybody saying "they aren't done with the line-up yet" - whats the biggest name they've added later on? chris rock. not a band. not a headliner. a comedian. they aren't planning on adding another headliner. if they were they would have announced them already to sell tickets. it would make no sense. also, weezer and tenacious d that high is hilarious - almost as funny as those two bands are. i love you bonnaroo but come on now. maybe since everybody is complaining they will add something else. that would be awesome, but the fact of the matter is they thought this was good enough, and that's kind of scary considering what we've had in the past.

I'm with you, Sir, but I'm also keeping my head up
cannot believe Tenacious D and Weezer are on the top line. Comparing it to last yrs is just depressing. I wonder if this is all part of the plan....to see how tix sell and then follow it up with 5-10 more solid names to give things a boost. As mentioned, lots of likely acts were omitted, like Spoon, MMJ, Waters, Young, Furthur, Pavement...and some longer-shots like Macca, Stones, Arcade Fire, Strokes, etc. This can't be it.....
okay the more i look at this lineup the sicker it looks. there is gonna be some awesome afternoons/latenights!!!! that much is for sure. but when i look at these headliners i am a. thinking that something is missing and b. completely baffled as to who is playing what night unopposed on the What stage. i mean seriously. my mind is racing is racing.... Dave Friday night like people were saying? Dave Sunday seems more likely. Stevie Wonder has got to be Saturday night. so what is happening Friday? is it JayZ? KOL? Weezer? are we missing someone? and where is Tenacious D? i understand a lot of people aren't excited for the D but coming from a HUGE Jack Black fan, as much as you can hate their music, those guys put on an incredible show that i gotta say is worthy of a What stage headlining slot (maybe shared). this lineup baffles and confuses me and as awesome and excited as i am for the FLips, Tenacious D, Damien Marley & Nas, Franti, Fogerty, Claypool, Black Keys, Jeff Beck, MMW, Deadmau5, and Blues Traveler, there are many bands that make me scared and nervous for not only the reputation of Bonnaroo but the timeslots and scheduled stages. i can only hope that while some of these artists that i despise (yes, i thought it would never happen but this year there are many artists i absolutely cannot stand) may be playing, there will be someone bad ass that i will enjoy playing that i can catch. otherwise i will be in the lot playing beer pong with the bros or shaking down shakedown street with the wooks. and while this hardly seems like a bad time, i can only sit and ponder of the previous years of Roo that i attended that included many missed opportunities and too many things to do at once that made me exhausted yet exasperated and thrilled to enjoy such a rollercoaster of music. i am scared i admit that this year will not be like that, but i am also happy that this year may include some relaxed adventures of exploration and chill time in between my musical escapades. that is my ramble/opinion on this years lineup. i am pleased yet dissatisfied, thrilled yet underwhelmed, and i am still looking forward to another year of what i trust in the name of Bonnaroo shall be an adventure in art, music, spirit, and soul. cheers! and to all that attend, i challenge you to what i am challenging myself, take this opportunity to check some music you would probably never ever go see on your own and keep an open mind.

im solidly happy with the undercard this year, lots of shows i want to see. i am very shocked, however, at the 'headliners'. i truly believe that there are still some surprises
that's exactly how i feel. i see people talking about how they'll check out some of these undercard bands. i know most of the bands - they got some good ones. they left out a few i would have wanted, but that's every year (no big deal). it's the top billed acts that are literally blowing my mind (in a bad way).
this line up blows. and i was not someone that was expecting Daft Punk or the Stones or someone crazy. i had even talked myself out of Roger Waters once i saw the FLips were playing Dark Side.
if this had been simply posted at midnight, i would still be disappointed with it, but i wouldn't be angry. i had a really busy day at work yet i kept wasting time checking on the line up for updates. and when it was ultimately underwhelming, not only was i disappointed, but pissed off that i got so distracted by it. the trickle thing was cool for a while and would have been great if it had paid off with a line up like 2007, 2008 or 2009 (or at the least, a line up that wasn't missing a bunch of acts). all this time, all this speculation...it was all a waste. i skipped 'Roo in 2007 and 2009 and regretted it deeply both times. there are only a handful of things I will regret about not seeing this line up.
sorry to be so negative, i just feel like i pissed away a lot of time and energy for nothing. i know acts will be added, but it's going to take a lot for me to get over this initial anger/disappointment. i feel betrayed.
The Dead Weather is 8th in the lineup and they are Jack White's THIRD best band.
When asked if Ringo was a good drummer or not: John Lennon was once quoted as saying "Ringo isn't even the best drummer in the Beatles". That was kind of mean. cr*****
Im not sure why everyone is so mad about how the lineup was revealed. Its not like you had to sit there and watch it the whole time(I did, but I was also snowed in the house with nothing to do). I give them props for trying something different and you have to admit it made the anticipation much greater whether you were disappointed at the end or not.
that was only as a backup because of the Allman Bros cancellation
yeah, that was only due to unique circumstances i think (but that didn't stop Bonnaroo from building it up and making everyone go crazy thinking it was gonna be Led Zeppelin).
remember, these people are concert promoters first, friendly festival hosts second. they are going to do everything they can to sell tickets first and foremost. and the circus they've put us through for the past few weeks and 9 hours today proves that. they knew damn well DMB and KOL at the top of the line up was weak compared to previous years (maybe someone dropped out, who knows) and they needed to disguise it somehow. believe me, unless they haven't finished the contract yet or something, if Neil Young was going to be there, he would have been announced today.
and again, for the record, i am a fan of both DMB and KOL, so i'm not just being a hater. but even i can admit KOL as a headliner isn't worth a 9 hour drive and i'm content to see DMB at a closer venue.

I for one am ahappy with the lineup minus DMB, But Im sure I'll capitalize on that by enjoying a band that I like with a small crowd. It'd be nice If every bonnaroo fan was happy every year but that won't happen I'm just happy it is a good year for me. Happy roo everyone... excited for JBT
