Ok so I know there are at least a handful of other Brand New fans on here who must be anticipating the release of this album next month. I just thought I would start this thread now and see if anyone else has thoughts or predictions about the album or just to say "I'm pumped!"
For those of you who don't lurk around specifically Brand New forums as much as I do here is what we know so far:
someone posted the track times elsewhere too but I don't feel like digging right now.
Also, based on information from the few people who have gotten advanced copies this is supposed to be a much louder, heavier and potentially polarizing album but it is also supposedly very good. It's subject matter deals somewhat with the band's struggle with whether they should even continue to make music (at least as "Brand New" and in terms of how they release new material). Jesse Lacey has been quoted as saying that Brand New is dead which I took to mean not certainly that this was their last effort, but that what the band used to stand for is behind them.
While the album is apparently different from previous releases so we don't quite know what to expect, I have full confidence that this band is about to put out a very, very good album. They have never put out a CD I have not loved completely and what little distaste I now have for their earlier work (mostly thematically, not aesthetically) is something that is just a matter of aging. This band has matured with each album and I have loved being along with them on the ride thus far

My neighbor was in their first music video. The Quiet Things Nobody Knows or something to that effect. He's the EMT in the video. That was the first I've ever heard of them. And that was the last I've heard of them until now.
