Radiohead, prince, muse, chili peppers, etc...and they are lucky if they get 1 mill, but they normally only get 500 k
then you have third tier : snoop, dre, J z...they get 100 k
then you have 4th tier : black keys, munford byoncee, Prince etcc: they get 50k
Has anyone mentioned Southern Lord's amazing vinyl reissue of Sleep's classic album Dopesmoker? Just issued a few weeks ago...2 LPs, beautiful, heavy gatefold packaging, deep purple vinyl, limited to 4000 copies. It's really the perfect way to reissue that record. Not too expensive either, lists at $29.98. More expensive than your average record, but not bad at all for a 2LP gatefold record on color vinyl.

It comes in more colors than just dark purple: www.southernlord.com/sleep.php Southern Lord is also reissuing High on Fire's first album "The Art of Self Defense" in Brown, Black, and Clear vinyl. But you can get both in purple vinyl and save $5 by getting the "Sleep / High on Fire - Purple Pack" package.

If you don't have your copy of Ryan Adams' best record Heartbreaker on vinyl, you better get it now; that sucker's about to go out of print and then possibly be worth a lot of money (until they re-re-issue it).

i have a couple different copies on vinyl, one of my favorite records of all time.
If anyone hasn't heard the MFSL digital version of Heartbreaker, its my favorite version. Really one of the best sounding recordings I own.

Damn, I did not know a half-speed master version of Heartbreaker was in existence, I'll have to try to track that down.

FYI, there are some sick deals on vinyl online today for Cyber Monday. Popmarket.com has some amazing vinyl bundles, changing every hour. Right now its a two-album bundle of live Neil Young. The 180 gram releases of Live at the Fillmore East and Live at Canterbury Mountain. 44 bucks for the whole set, that's (if I'm not mistaken) about 30 bucks less than usual.

If he doesn't have them already, Bacon just got a huge boner.

It looks like they aren't listing the specific details of the sales until that hour, ITM. They're only mentioning the artist it will focus on in that hour.
Also, AWESOME avatar/sig. Especially because I know EXACTLY which moment that is in the show. Surprised Shannon is looking straight at the camera though haha.

Gotcha. I was able to find some list that also says there's a Tom Waits and Pink Floyd vinyl bundle going on sale a little bit earlier than the White STripes one.

Yea, I think it's just good timing on the screencapture that I used....loved the photo and had to use it lol.
Thanks man! Some of the colors got wiped in the process because I don't think my computer can really handle it, but I am definitely going to keep trying more of those; I love how they look.
