Unfortunately, no... I've got to work and none of my friends were really interested enough. That trip out there to see Nick Cave nearly drove me nuts, haha. I know it's going to be great, though. I hear the venue is really intimate.

Yea the venue is tiny. That's going to quite an experience to see her there.

Even though the show at MOEMS at the Thomas Wolfe was one of my favorite shows, I still kind of needed binoculars... my inebriation did not help matters either. It's still crazy to me that she's playing in that small a venue... I guess she hasn't really taken off in popularity the way I would have imagined.

Yea, EAP was talking about the show there not having many people. That show at MOEMS was amazing and we had good seats.

I intended on having good seats for that, but I think it was after Bosnian Rainbows? Having seen them earlier that year at the AMH I was wanting to leave early to get a good spot for Zola, but Rainbows ended up tearing it up to the point of staying to the very end. I think that's why we had to sit towards the back.

I can't really remember but I think I stayed for all of Bosnian Rainbows.

I love love loved the moems set. I got to meet her at acl as well.
There were maybe 85-100 people at her show here last night. It was a lot different than the last few times I saw her. Way weirder and more expirimental. The guy who opened for her was some guy playing basically sounds. Whatever I liked it.
The only one I don't have now is Taiga, but I'm in no hurry to get it, even though I like it more than I think most people do. $15 is a good deal for all of them, for sure, but I think you made the right decision. I listen to that one quite often, and it's honestly probably my favorite of all her releases.

Yea I listen to Versions and Conatus the most. But I think Okovi is going to be up there's with them. The reason I ended up going with Versions is "Night". I would have bought all of them if I could.

The version of Run Me Out on there just kills me, too. I wish they would have included the JG version of Vessel, though. That live at the Guggenheim video is one of my favorite Youtube videos ever.
Local record store sprung a stamp card sale out of nowhere today, so I moved my regular Wednesday visit up a bit. Picked up:
George Harrison - All Things Must Pass (finally found one for a decent price that wasn't falling apart) Johnny Cash - The Greatness of Johnny Cash Swans - The Great Annihilator The Birthday Party - Junkyard (200 gram)

Splurging and getting the Black Friday release of Blonde
Funny, when you posted this I was literally in the process of looking online for the same thing. I just can't bring myself to drop $200 (or even $100) on an album though.
