A few days ago, I decided to join my friends in their journey to Bonnaroo. On the local craigslist site, I found a GREAT deal from someone who had bought a ticket but now couldn't go. I met this woman and made the exchange in-person. However, I'm a little paranoid. After riding with my friends for six hours, I want to make sure that I don't find out that my ticket was so cheap because it's fake! Otherwise I'll be down a lot of money and stuck in Manchester without a ride. Sux0rs.
So, can anyone tell me, am I being really paranoid, or has this been known to happen? If so, are they any ways that I can figure out if my ticket is real or not?
Are there any impressions or watermarks on the ticket? I noticed that, on the back of the ticket, you can see an impression of the infinity symbol used as the "oo" in "bonnaroo" on the front of the ticket.

There are counterfeit tickets, last year two of my friends bought tickets down there and they were fake, the people at the gates still let them in though which was pretty cool of them but prolly only because it wasn't sold out last year.
Yesterday I met up with someone on craigslist to get a ticket for my buddy and it was $160 and the ticket was legit. Kinda pissed that my buddy waited till last second and got for 50 dollars cheaper then what I payed for on the first day they went on sale. But at least he gets to go .

Well, you'll probably be pissed to hear that I only paid $100. I used this listing: lexington.craigslist.org/tix/170449423.html. At the time I thought, "OMG SO CHEAP BETTER GET IT QUICK," but now I'm thinking, "Why was it so cheap?"
Hopefully I'm just being really paranoid, as usual.

That person prolly made a $100 when they thught they were gonna have to eat the ticket and not go, so now at least they have some extra cash.
This close to the show, that would be my guess.
For what it's worth, on mine, you can see on the back the imprint of the words and stars that are on the front. Also, there are some pics in the "Tickets" thread.
